Yeah, so what. It’s called migration mate. Hate to burst your bubble, but humans quite like moving around sometimes.

'Didn't want to leave': The Aussie-raised star in World Cup final - and the 'vision' that led him to the All Blacks

It is easy to forget how big some of these guys are. Next to each other, they all look similar. Then you see them at a match and it is like…. woah. 140 plus kg and 195 odd cm. Yeah, I reckon he might have a chance against the bomb squad!

True! Maybe he was just doing what he was told! I recall when it happened, you could tell Marshall was passing back to someone for the dg and that it was not that surprising to almost everyone that it was Zinny taking the shot.

Forwards kicking drop goals: The good, the bad and the ugly

Maybe it was the back of the bus club, with Marshall and Zinzan deciding they knew best? Even so, JP became an AB legend that day after kicking those two key penalties earlier in the match.

Have to agree with you their.

All Blacks gearing up for Wallabies clash

It would take a melt down from the AB’s for the Wallabies to win it. Either that or a massive reversal of Wallaby form. These two sides are quite far apart, two weeks hasn’t changed that. As much as the WB’s feel they can build on their last game the AB’s took theirs to another level at Ellis Park. Still, no one gave the English a chance last year but even in that game, while well won by England, the AB’s just weren’t there. Would take something like that to cause another upset next weekend.

There are too many AB fans with arrogant attitudes who do their team and NZ rugby in general no favours. NZ is obviously a great rugby nation. How much better could NZ be if we stopped thinking we are the only ones who know anything about the game. Too proud for our own good some times.

I have no problems with a young man with the world at his feet, messing things up and losing direction. Hell, it can even happen when you only have the McDonalds deep fryer at your feet!

The trouble with staying in Oz is that he only seems to have The Force as an option. Their overall quality means he has to carry some of his team mates. It’s that sort of pressure which seems to be stalling his development so maybe a year in France might do it.

Is a NZ side a possibility?

James O'Connor: Where to next?

What a great read thanks Brett. Sure sets the scene for those of us who haven’t been there for one of these matches, as well as an insight into some of the historical context.

For mine, I think the AB’s will struggle. The squad is raw in parts and creaky in others. When have they been really tested by quality opponents and under trying conditions? At last we have a test match that should give us some answers.

All Blacks, welcome to Johannesburg
