Rugby 7s is great it’s still Rugby!!
Rugby Union is a global sport not on par with Soccer no sport will but in comparison to other field sports Rugby Union is clearly right behind Soccer.
I’m still going to support NRC Rugby here in Australia & the brand of Rugby it promotes!! The amount of time wasted for scrum resets & Line outs from International level to Super Rugby, Aviva Premiership etc is too bloody long in comparison to the NRC speed the game already!!
The core value of the game of Rugby won’t be loss because of a 2 point penalty system you serious??.. it’s just promotes more running Rugby!!
Infringements in the game always happens anyways & that’s always been a problem not one created if the point system was changed!! It’s just part of the game that’s why Yellow & Red cards (even penalty tries) are used to serve it’s purpose to stop & limit teams from deliberate infringements!!
Deliberate Infringements is an area of the game whether 3 points or 2 is where it’s a continuous work in progress for the game to officiate.
I see more benefits personally of a NRC brand of Rugby more tries better to watch it’s still Rugby Awesome.

I don’t care about Rugby league they can concentrate on their little domestic competition.
Rugby Union is my passion!! Rugby yes is thriving around the world with Rugby 7s & 15s it’s amazing to see how Rugby continues to grow each year!!
But you can’t tell it’s frustrating watching teams opt for the soft option of 3 points cause they know it’s there where’s the fun & skills in that.
Maybe it’s World Rugby that is out of touch with the game & the ARU is on course to give fans a true spectacle of Rugby.

I enjoy watching the NRC with its new law variation & point system. ARU need more support from other Snobby Unions to Support Change!! Given Time the NRC will be a testament that change will work & be good for the game.
We a restricted & robbed as Rugby fans who love the game of it’s full potential as a spectacle because people within the game are afraid of change as I’ve already stated in my previous comments.

Have you heard of yellow & red cards teams will quickly learn to not infringe and play the game!! Adjustments will have to be made no doubt, but 2 points is more than ENOUGH!! Rugby fans are tired of penalty kicks because it’s a Snore feast!!
It’s killing the game, maybe not in terms of Rugby Unions growth & rapid rise as a sport in Rugby 7s & 15s around the world in particular in non Rugby Nations but Rugby will be more of a spectacle if 2 point penalties was official!!
Credit to the ARU for identifying this major problem within the game. I’m more than confident that if the ARU stay on course with their change in the point system with their new provincial rugby competition NRC Rugby fans will demand World Rugby to follow suit.

No one agrees with the bottle to the head, but seriously that BOTTLE represents years of frustration Nrl league fans have had with incompetent Officials within the game!!
Bulldogs supporters just happen to be the club that delivered that message literally!! Enough is Enough!! This game is unravelling in front of everyone’s eyes & A BOTTLE was bound to find an officials head sooner rather than later cause the Nrl surely ain’t doing anything about the VERY POOR STANDARD OF THE MOST INCOMPETENT OFFICIALS OF ANY CODE!!

Rugby Union scrums are fine it’s not a PUSSY VERSION like LEAGUE it’s actually CONTESTED!! The problem with scrums in Rugby Union is the actual time players take to reset is the only problem concerning scrums.
Everyone is still puzzled on why league continues its Pussy Version of Scrums it’s just the biggest waste of time & makes no sense!!
League scrums should just be tap the ball & run seriously!! It’s one hit ups off the league scrums 95% of time Anyways!!

Rather have teams win games off scoring tries instead of relying on 3 points to win games & putting everyone to sleep!!
2 points is more than enough for teams to earn penalty points Northern Hemisphere teams in particular!! Just learn to score Tries!!
ARU with all its flaws outline something in the game that needs to change & they were spot on!! I guess only the dinosaurs in the game would disagree!!

For such a simple game like Rugby league how did it get so complicated???… When you break it down a game of league I hate to say it but it’s basically Touch Tackle with Endless Replays & incompetent officials!!

Northern & Southern Hemisphere teams must at lease have 1 player selected with the best teams ranked inside the top 20 within the World Rugby Rankings for the concept to have any relevance.
If selection is purely base for tier 1 nations then what’s the point Rugby test matches provide that spectacle Anyways like British Irish Lions vs Barbarians for example.

Totally agree Parramatta Stadium home of the Eels it will always remain that way!! It’s not the Eels fault these teams play at ANZ or don’t actually have a Venue of their own to play at like I said those teams just need to relocate!!

Double headers would never fix the crowd problems the Nrl are having. Now when you make comparisons to the both games last night it was clear Parramatta Stadium would always out do ANZ during club rounds!! As Parramatta Stadium has the atmosphere & the right Seating Capacity at the moment being far superior to Homebush & a much closer view to the action as well.
ANZ Stadium is only suited for finals footy & major sporting events, Nrl double headers will never fix anything for any club it never will.
We all know ANZ is just not suitable for club games in any code as the Stadium is just to big!!
Tigers, Rabbitohs & Bulldogs seriously just need to relocate or keep being victims to playing in front of a empty stadium with no atmosphere!!

Brookvale council clearly stated they don’t have the money for maintenance but somewhere in their contracts with their tenants especially the Sea Eagles, Brookvale Council should of had the Manly Club or the Nrl cover half or most of ground maintenance in return for cheap rent!!
Brookvale oval is not worthy of either cheap rent or a good playing surface it still won’t fix what’s really needed like the major problem within the infrastructure itself = light that Stadium up & burn it to the ground well you catch the drift!!

Last time I checked councils are responsible for all parks, Rugby, Soccer etc & safety of those grounds they own for public use!!
Manly Sea eagles & the Nrl are not obligated to cover ground maintenance for a lets be honest here a toilet Stadium, when clearly it’s not their responsibility especially if Sea Eagles pay rent!!

Israel Folau has made his mark in Rugby & he is a great player that also puts bums on seats!! Not yet the complete player but he is not far off & is a great asset to Australian Rugby especially when the code is struggling here in Australia thanks Izzy hopefully you stay with Rugby!!
