It’s important that we trust the Selectors as they have done us proud for a long. long. time, so let’s presume they have it right once again and the much bandied about phraseology quote “In Shag we trust” rings true as it has in the past, time and again!

We could look at the selection of already injured Players picked to travel, Retallick, Crotty and SBW spring to mind, as the thought of choosing crocked already players in lieu of already to go, fit and ready very, very good players seems extraordinarily strange but again we must trust our extremely talented and thus far trustworthy Selectors for picking this Team as it is!

We all know about Retallick, SBW is made of glass and is distinct liability, Crotty has a broken hand and he will of course say that he’s all good to go be it mended or not! ~ In saying that, a player like Crotty who is a Premium Midfielder and one of the very best is quite indispensable and with the type of injury he has after two months resting it, he should be right to go!

Ngani Laumape, is I imagine more that gutted because I don’t ever remember him having a bad game and to be left behind because of an ageing Player albeit a good one who is extremely injury prone must be devastating to the Player as he has no doubt played his heart out in an attempt to make this World Cup!

He could still make it as seemingly he is first cab off the rank as injury cover in the Backs!

This is a good Team and no doubt, they will be very hard to beat, and I personally hope that my ”hang up” on the bad Refereeing and the All Blacks being targets by them, does not occur at all! Red cards need to be absolutely scrutinised if any offence of the magnitude befitting the crime, is investigated thoroughly and commonsense prevails because done badly and this World Cup could descend into mediocrity!

That Law as applied the other day to Scott Barrett will decimate the World Cup upcoming as there’s no possible way that every Referee will see the ridiculous Law in the exact same light as written! ~ Stupid and dumb whoever thought it up, absolutely ridiculous because don’t be surprised if you don’t see half a dozen players sitting on the sideline having gained red cards for that very Law! ~ Hooper should be asked to explain as to why he whined in the Frog Referees’ ear earlier. planting a seed in Garces ear, and it worked after he milked it for all it’s worth getting up with a grin from ear to ear! The Wallabies won ONE GAME, good grief and they haven’t won anything yet, next weekend boys, be afraid, very afraid!!

Does everyone know the Wallabies won the other day, been a long time since a Wallaby Team beat an All Black team! ~ One game, one game only against 14 men also what are we crowing about, one game, jeez’! ~ Cheika talks sense here which makes a nice change and he knows full well that his Boys have to play the same Team this upcoming Weekend! ~ The difference is that the All Blacks Team come Saturday will be nothing like the one that used 14 men it will be vastly different, and the Skippys’ haven’t won there at Eden Park for 34 years!! ~ Wallabies played well in that weekends game, but I doubt very much they would have won if the Number 1 Team had all their Players, they as a rule win those games coming from behind~ Anyway even with 14 players most of us thought the All Blacks would still have won regardless! ~ They got a couple of good tries though!

I would like to know as to who the hell Fitzsimons thinks he is, He was never a good rugby player, and when he was in the Wallabies he only played a few games and it was a period when the Wallabies were really struggling and it didn’t matter how good you were if you rocked up at training, you got a game bit like recently till Saturday!~ He was a scrapper and would fight at the drop of a hat and lost more than he ever won, everyone knows how big his mouth is, absolutely useless and he has the gall to bag the All Blacks! ~ The Wallabies beat the All Blacks with 16 men, against 14 with a red card that was organised by Hooper, and after I read that, I reckon Ardie should’ve give him a couple between the peepers to shut the whinging little sod up, Ardie was retaliating for a previous incident and he didn’t forget it so he gave him a shove in the chest Hooper didn’t like it one bit unfortunately it was out in the open! When the game was played the proper way, you waited till you could get at the guy who’d bugged you in a ruck and dealt to him, the Ref never got to know. Glad Ardie didn’t tag him one but Hooper on his butt is not worth not playing in the World Cup!

Good on the Skippys, by far and away their best game for ten years, they cleaned out those Al Blacks, deservedly so and well done to them because it is a rare thing even if it was with 16 men against 14, with a red card that should have been nothing more than a penalty, Barrett did nothing, and you have to admire Hooper when on the ground milking it for all it’s worth then on seeing that Red card, he just about creamed his jeans with grin on face! – The All Blacks did not deserve to win as they were in a bad headspace before the game was played, we all know that BBarrett really didn’t want to play fullback and Bender didn’t have a love in with being on the Wing either, the best Loosie in the game playing out of position and it goes on, so Shag has a bit of hide rubbishing his team when the way he structured the Team was a joke! – That Frog’ Referee was intent on getting someone off the park as they love those red cards held high so the whole World can see him “exerting his Authority”, If Barrett had to go, what about the other four that weren’t even called, watch a replay and see for yourself! If an incident warrants a Red card it should be consistent, it wasn’t which is not surprising with that Hopeless zFrench Ref and Peyper running the touch, it was inevitable! – With 14 men no Test Team is going to win particularly with the Referee stil hammering the Kiwis, butceven after Half Time I felt like sure that if any Team could win with 14 against 16 the Al Blacks would, they tried, but the extra man makes life easy for the 16 sided Oposition! Take nothing away from the Skipys though they played well and won in a canter withthose2 extra men! Hansen is a crafty individual and who knows if he organised a civilised loss and the demise of his Team, then the week after in Auckland absolutely take the Aussies’ Trou’ off, the Kiwis rarely lose and they have NEVER lost two in a row so let us just see next weekend! Wonderful to see the OZ Boys win as they don’t win many, particularly against the All Blacks!

Skelton, Taavao, White and Debreczini are New Zealanders! Only one of them Debreczini would be welcomed back in fact he’s lapping up the quality rugby with the Chiefs, he’s home for good!

Clifto! You have the same defeatist Australian oriented attitude as Peter K! , Just remember Deans was the Coach and a good one at that, all Australia had was a bunch of over hyped egotistic self style so called rugby players who, if they were anywhere else would never have got a game!

You won’t see Dave Rennie Coaching in Australia, be assured, or any other Kiwi Coach either! ~ Most of those Top Kiwi Coaches including Rennie are overseas plying their trade Coaching other International sides but there’s none here in OZ! ~ It was only a matter of time also that Cron the Asst Coach of the Tahs did a runner also as he knew what was happening and he and his Family are New Zealand Rugby Royalty anyway!

PeterK. And that’s exactly what Deans did, try to turn it around and because of that he got the shove because of a conspiracy within, you know that as every else does mate! It was Australian Rugby attitude which was bad that caused the whole debacle!

PeterK You know this as fact mate? ~ Because it seems as if you know more than most of us, or have you spoken to Robbie and asked him “what happened”, because he as Head Coach of the Australian Rugby side had the license to do as he wished providing it was within the realms of International rugby! ~ so he did and your guys didn’t like being told how to play and what to do by the Coach because of him being a New Zealander and a top coach at that!

JD Kiwi! ~ And that is the very reason that rugby in Australia will very likely never ever be a top International side, because of the very attitude they have of them needing a Coach with ”typical Australian Way” of which there is no such thing!

You say “His style of coaching was tailored to the handling of Kiwi rugby players who as a whole are more, team oriented and hard working”, ~ You are exactly correct and that’s the very thing he was attempting to instil in the players here in Australia and they on the whole just did not like being coached with that authority by one of the best Coaches in Rugby!!

It would be a surprise of major proportions if any Kiwi Coach came here to be the Coach of any Rugby Team, let alone Dave Rennie!

The treatment of Deans was deplorable particularly the way it came about and no Coach regardless of who it was deserved that rubbish!

Robbie Deans was and still is a very, very, good rugby Coach and did nothing to deserve the crap he got here in Australia, ~ it was simply a group within a group putting their heads together to sabotage the Coach in several ways and more or less deciding that they would do anything they could to ensure he was removed that, and the fact that he dumped Giteau for carrying on like a clown because he wasn’t made Captain of the side then dropped altogether didn’t help at the time either!

The Team was sabotaged from within by a group of players some of whom are still involved with the Wallabies simply because they didn’t like his methods and his ”do as you’re told” attitude, in short they detested the fact that a Kiwi Coach was Coaching them, the “Wallabies” at all, the preference being of course they wanted an Australian Coach who coached the “Australian way” (whatever that is), who do those Kiwi Coaches think they are anyway, ~ and as someone says on here, “the us versus them mentality is far too deeply ingrained in the general Aussie’ Rugby psyche to accept Kiwis as Coaches”.

That is the reason it will be very unlikely that you will see any New Zealand Coaches doing their stuff in Australia!

It seems it matters not that those very Coaches are in the main the best Coaches anywhere in the World!

And where would those other Selectors who grew a backbone get the said personnel from? ~ There is virtually no quality players in any position in Australia, sad but true!

If nothing else, it just points out the huge gulf between the Kiwi and Aussie Rugby at this moment as Super Rugby Teams should never be posting scores against them such as those!

I had a bit of a hollow feeling before this game as I really wanted the Brumbies to do well here for confidence if nothing else, but almost from the whistle they got pummeled by a very good side indeed in the Jag’s who in fairness had a pretty good lend of a lousy Referee who blew the pea out of his whistle, pedantic junk it was! ~ It really didn’t matter though as the Jag’s just played good constructive rugby and the Brumbies looked like a bunch of chooks with their heads off, they just did not play at all! ~ The Brumbies just didn’t want to be there from very early in the game as the Argie’s just did things right and ”socked it to them”! Woe betide Australian rugby because it’s sad indeed and it is something with no easy fix, no quality players no quality Coaches and poor Administration! ~ What happens now? who the hell knows as this Super Debacle and the junk that Folau’s dragging the Rugby scene through is just not conducive to the playing of winning rugby at all! ~ One would have to feel for the World Cup Staff, as it’s at a stage they’re like a deer in the headlights with nowhere to go! How for the life of me they intend to front up in the World Cup competitively is difficult to comprehend!

Exactly right mate, the clown who put this rubbish up for discussion and indicating that he’ll donate twice in fact to a guy who is so full of himself thinking that the whole rugby World owes HIM!!!!, ~ For what?, he’s in the wrong and he knows it so the righteous people like yourself donate to his cause which is possibly a good thing because he’s going to need all he can get to pay for his own Legal stuff plus Rugby Australia’s Legal Fees also, because he can’t win this no matter what he tries in his upcoming effort to embarrass the Rugby folk who pandied to all his whims and treated him with kid gloves to keep him on big money, ~ what for I cannot understand! It matters not where he was born, he’s Kiwi bred therefore in reality there really would only be one Country he’d likely want to play in, Kiwi born Kids as a rule want to play for the All Blacks, ~ It’s in the blood they say! ~ But at the end of the day, would he ever be good enough to make the All Blacks? as I know very well the criteria for getting to be one of those is insanely difficult indeed, but if the Kiwi’s are going to approach the guy at all as it’s rumoured, they must have been watching him!
