No it’s not though Andy!

Her quoted stats of 37 tries in 27 tests (1.4 per test) are not even close to his ACTUAL stats of 37 tries in 73 tests (0.5 per test)

“his try scoring ability would place him amongst the best attacking weapons to ever play the game” – there’s a BIG difference between 1.4 and 0.5 tries per game, as big as “best attacking weapon” and “good attacking player”…….

How the loss of Israel Folau has improved the Wallabies backfield

27 test matches??? He’s played over 60 Gloria!

Foley’s being rested and will be picked again next week – at 12 outside Toomua to make his life a misery! 😛

Hooper to the bench, To'omua at flyhalf among ten Wallabies changes for Georgia clash

Perhaps that justifies the ” harsh 3 week” ban Hodge copped then?
Judiciary got it right after all???

The Wrap: Red, yellow, green - rugby’s ‘traffic light’ World Cup

” Enough has been written about Australia’s loss to Wales to fill Ben Tameifuna’s bathtub”
Literary GOLD Mr Parkes! Bravo!

Week 2 World Cup reflections: Hoi seishin wa arimasen!

When you’re playing with a 12 who rarely passes to his center partner and a 10 who struggles to throw a cutout pass far enough to reach you its pretty hard to have a big impact on the game!

Wallabies player ratings from Rugby Championship opener vs Springboks

Didn’t see a win for the ARG’s on the weekend Trader….
Does that blow any holes in your theories? (Im guessing not)

Why things fell apart for the Brumbies in Buenos Aires

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool…..
you know how the rest goes Trader? 😉

Why things fell apart for the Brumbies in Buenos Aires

Hear hear Geoff!
Well said.

A letter to Alan Jones on the matter of Israel Folau

It’s a parish set up by his father! So it would seem he has been “led astray” by his own family.

Folau confirms he knocked back RA's peace offering

What about the obvious reason – cost!

At $77 (plus $7 booking fee) for a Category 1 seating area its a damn expensive night! Then you’ve got food and refreshments on top, plus transport costs….
All to watch a horror viewing spectacle like they put on last week? No thanks!

Hence the sub-8k crowd.

Why don’t they lower the prices?? It would fill the stadium, improve atmosphere, sell more drinks and food = everyone wins!

Seems easy to me…

Waratahs miss platinum opportunity in the Golden West

* sneaks off to google “availability heuristic”…..
Thanks Lano – learnt something new today! 😉

The Wrap: Foley TKOs Cooper as Australian conference tightens up

Nah – whitebait season has finished Lara! 😉

Belt up, Michael Cheika is going to win the RWC his way

” He used tape found inside his kit and rubbed it against the pitch so that granules would stick to it to allow the ball to be roughed up.”

Ahhh… that was the LIE they originally told the media no? They later came clean and admitted it was sandpaper they used.

Please don’t re-write history!

What effect did the media have on the ball-tampering scandal?

I’m with you Gus. His boorish, unintelligent sledging and aggressive/confrontational attitude is just toxic. The team are playing well together without him.

I have sympathy for the other two and believe they could assimilate back into the now healthier team culture well, but Warner is everything bad that the Aussie team had become over the last few/many years.

Let him sit out the WC and watch from home how real teamwork, not abuse and aggression can win world cups

Warner can flourish in middle order at World Cup

Geez! Coleman, Arnold and Carter all leaving…
Sure fire bet Ned Flanders is a lock-in selection now – Chieka’s got 2 positions to select him for now!

Naivalu joins growing list of Wallabies leaving post-World Cup

One of the biggest whingers in the game gets all pouty when his previously rude comments get throw back in his face with some serious interest. LOL!

LOVED watching that last chance bounce off his chest! 😉

Gallen: There was no need for Nathan Brown to bring my name up

“they’ve been rushing a fair bit. We’ve got to look at how we can profit from that…”

God please not Kurtley and his chip kicks again!!

Cheika sticks with Folau on the wing, Haylett-Petty at fullback

You’ve got to admit he’s pretty good at catching high balls too….

Has Michael Cheika lost the plot, or is he a strategic genius?

Amen to that Mango!!

John Millman stuns tennis world with US Open boilover against Roger Federer

Wasn’t inferring they are gone for good – just that they have missed their chance for selection in the early season tests. I should have been clearer.

Believe Cooper will make future squads as he has shown he can shine in the Wallaby environment, but have my doubts about Beale. I suspect Deans would not look kindly on Beale’s over-all attitude. I believe he would select more deserving people – say less skilled but better work ethic/team players.

How can one tell a great five-eighth in the making?

Jim C

She does lay it on a bit thick – but I think the gist of her story is spot on. These sorts of incidents ARE doing permenant damage to the game and the NRL board MUST make a concerted and visible stance against this sort of behaviour.

If they want to appeal to more people than just the blue collared yobbo blokes, and realy grow the sport, these things need to stop.

A few harsh lessons and a few players made example of and the whole game would be the better for it. Ban the next players involved in such an incident for life and attitudes would quickly change!

Sportsmen behaving badly a sad reality of today's society
