Just marvelous. Australian Rugby lurches even further towards all things Canberra. At some stage, the contribution of this continually insulting ACT bias will be linked to both declining Rugby AU crowd numbers and Wallaby performance results. Who (outside of Canberra) wants to hand over their hard earned coin to watch a team selected, coached & influenced at all levels by constant ACT hierarchy???

In relation to the Tupou contractual issues, a purely nasty article by Fox Sports Christy Doran, totally devoid of any substantiation, aimed more so at undermining QLD Coach Brad Thorn. Doran’s linkage of whimsical “I dropped the ball / I didn’t get picked / I’m not progressing” player observations, to the QLD Coaching prowess, is amateurish & fanciful.
Brad Thorn should be the next Wallabies Coach. He’s tough, principled, & he’s a winner.
As long as the Brumbies-Waratahs centric selection bias continues with the Wallabies, our national team faces more continuing mediocrity when it comes to results.
