Tigers have St Kilda, GC & Collingwood coming up, if we win all three we’ll be knocking on the door of Top 4, we could jump up as high as 6th by the end of this weekend. The rest of the Top 8 all finally faceoff against each other in the next few weeks which is more good news for the Tigers. By mid July we need to beat either the Cats or Lions at the MCG and we’ll be in the top 4 locked in, with the Roos & Hawks (percentage boosters) to come.

Tigers under pressure in finals race

Oh no 😱 what are we going to do??? might just have to bring Dustin Martin back in to cover Cotchin.

Cotchin to miss grand final rematch after injury in Dogs defeat

2nd place Demons against the 5th placed Tigers, so that’s not the game of the Round? okay then.

To the point of the article, GMHBA stadium has already inflated the Cats 2021 W/L’s. If that Brisbane game were played at the Gabba Geelong would be currently out of the 8 and sitting 2-3.
As for their form, It’s a combination of many things, a late start to pre-season? maybe, The Cats are bigger bodies with lots of boys 30yo+, compare that to the Tigers (In the same situation, Late start) but they’re smaller leaner and younger.
– The new rules & longer quarters haven’t helped (Chris Scotts stubbornness not to adapt his coaching to the modern faster game style has contributed to this),
– Injuries to key players is another issue.
– Also many teams set their heavy training loads at the start of the season which maybe a factor.

– And finally, to be honest it may just be case of the post GF blues, the Cats have underestimated, undervalued & undermined Richmonds Dynasty, Chris Scott set himself and the players physically and emotionally to win the Premiership in 2020, give Ablett & Danger their fairytale finishes, while simultaneously proving the Tigers weren’t a Dynasty team, it didn’t happen, the Tigers proved him wrong, thats got to be draining on any clubs self belief and we’re seeing it now.

Does GMHBA make a contender a pretender?

Have to disagree on the Richmond pick. The face and brand of the club is Jack Dyer. KB, Martin, Hart are all club champions but Dyer is the heart beat and always will be. Punt Rd Oval literally has a Stand & Statue immortalizing him.

Who is the all-time face of each AFL club?
