Ive been saying for years the AFL are parasites on the Aus taxpayer.
The only way they survive is to suffocate everything around them.

It's time the APL came clean on the state of the game in the A-Leagues

Excellent comment

Things just seem to get worse and worse in Vic. They really are disappearing up the AFL’s proverbial.

0 goals in 3 games is certainly a worry. Is it the team set up? Lack of a quality finisher? Probably both. Whilst we played some good football we lacked the quality in the top 3rd.
Yes the coaching needs to address this but when you are denied 6 top class players at this level we will always struggle. Its the price we pay for having top young players playing in Europe. Vietnam etc don’t have these problems.

SS now you’re just being silly.

How can the APL convince casual fans the A-League Men is worth supporting?

Sorry your sensibilities were so offended. My point is that there will always be something that is unpalatable to not follow a game. And if that’s what you choose to do then knock yourself out.
You mentioned AFL so I did as well.

Simulation crackdown: If they like the spotlight so much, put A-League actors up before the Match Review Panel

Yes that was so bad. It’s sad that they are taught to do all that to soak up time, frustrate the opposition etc. All the mens middle eastern teams do the same as well. They are the worst culprits these days of simulation.

Simulation crackdown: If they like the spotlight so much, put A-League actors up before the Match Review Panel

You complain about simulation but are ok with all the ra cism and drug sno rting etc etc etc that occurs in AFL?
No one likes simulation but you are not a fan and certainly not even a potential fan. You just look for reasons to not follow the game. Which is fine. But don’t patronise us all by saying “Oh I would watch if only “there were no offsides”, the goals were bigger, there wasn’t simulation” etc etc

They should name an award “The Rivaldo”
And the winner for the most outrageous acting performance on a football field goes to….

I blame the ref’s for the main part because they facilitate the horrendous acting and reward such behaviour. There was a time where simulation was carded but like most things, they seem to fade out of view and are no longer policed.
As far as simulation hurting the game, yes it does as football fans can’t stand it. I wouldn’t worry about fans of other games as they used to be the young b ogans driving around in their cars yelling out w ogball! when they went past a football match. You can’t take the b ogan out of…well a b ogan. Its inbred.

Grem looks like you really got into Tuffnoses head. He can’t leave you alone lol.

Western United's football-specific facility is a milestone worth celebrating

Mike bemoaning that there is a lack of of understanding from the generally ignorant Aus sporting public about quality of pitches etc, is a lost cause.
You need to speak their language. Eg: We’re going to have a rock concert on the SCG the day before an Ashes contest.
Watch the b ogans jump up and down then.

Enjoy the game Grem 🙂

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 23

Not sure if any games on the east coast will go ahead this weekend.
Its bucketting down!

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 23

The last people you’d want on a football field are Rugby teams. They’ll churn up that ground quicker than a tractor sowing the ground.

A 10-man Sydney FC withstand siege to end Perth's A-League finals chances

What a lame excuse. So we have Spain able to cap a 16yo (Lamal) and a 17yo (Gavi) into that red hot FULL national team. But we need to “look after” Irankunda for the u23’s. What rot.

'Hate to be in his shoes': Olyroos coach explains why he's snubbed Irankunda for Paris qualifiers when 'I could be selfish'

I also thought the ball was behind him but then I thought maybe it’s behind him because he was delayed in his run by the foul. We won’t really know. I still think it was a red.

SS you think women shouldn’t venture too far from the kitchen let alone have a place in football.
Right?

Hypocritical response? Chelsea coach Emma Hayes cites male aggression, then shirt-fronts Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall

Irankunda's brilliance, Sydney suffocate Mariners, 'blackout' prevented as NEP save the day

Garry this is true. But I think the overall net gain is a positive. There are girls now interested in football that may not have been before.

SFC women’s crowds have been really good this season. Same again over the weekend. My daughter will only watch the women’s now lol.
Yes they really did blow it. Not winning the league will hurt and not even a GF win will ease that hurt I wouldn’t think.

Irankunda's brilliance, Sydney suffocate Mariners, 'blackout' prevented as NEP save the day

Poor Mike – desperate for some sort of sign that AFL players are “genuine superstars” he reaches for the NFL punting routine.
The delusion is so deep they really do need therapy (or an intervention).

If it wasn't for Irankunda, every A-League headline would be negative right now

lol so true.
You know you’ve made it when you end up on one of those shows.

If it wasn't for Irankunda, every A-League headline would be negative right now

Grem I’m with you. Just enjoy the football and avoid negative people who are always looking for something to whine about. I also went to the game Saturday night and had a great time. Great seats at reasonable prices and good football. The rest is just white noise.

If it wasn't for Irankunda, every A-League headline would be negative right now

Buddy true. There is always another club that is bigger, richer, more prestigious etc.
