How do clubs just walk away from contracts that aren’t completed, with seemingly no financial penalties to the cap ? Certainly nothing that seems to affect their following year’s salary cap.
Faitala-Mariner had two years to run in his Bulldogs contract. Told not to return to the club & was due to be paid for two more seasons at $400,000 per season.
How do they continue to buy huge numbers of players, including some very expensive new signings each season. Yet get rid of players that haven’t completed their contracts, requiring payouts?

It’s difficult to miss the huge amount of comments , that are only pushing for anyone on the HMAS West Aussie .
You seem to seek out every comment , that has anything to do with anyone from from WA . Or that pushes for any players inclusion in an Australian team , that’s aren’t from WA. To talk up the WA players , while diminishing the values of non WA players.
So I’d say that you are actually the ‘ don’t comment unless is all for WA ‘Tr.oll .
I think for the most part , you seek out my comments, to talk down anything that doesn’t suit your agenda. ( See the other stories ). Not sure how that makes me , what you certainly are?
Then you can’t even admit when players do very well & actually
Win Competitions. As your personal dislike for them won’t allow it.

Ashwin for India , was firstly an opening batsman & pace bowler . Then changed over to bowl spin.
Don’t understand why any decent batsman in Australia, don’t bowl spin? Seems obvious & if you are successful bowling spin & can bat. You walk into the Australian side in any form of the game.

Cameron White…There’s a name. Had some decent innings as a batsman. Then probably the worst spin bowler, to bowl for Australia. Didn’t spin the ball & didn’t get anyone out.

They already bought management from Penrith before? I don’t think they are currently that popular at the Tigers.
Given that the clubs who develop their own players, would no doubt do better if allowed a cap concession to allow them to retain more of ‘their best’ local juniors. As better players, bring better performances, then that goes with more club members & possibly better club sponsors. ( Not even talking about pathways players! ) I don’t see how it’s not a good idea?
As opposed to other clubs buying the best of them & then saying how well they do developing them.

Maybe? Yet Wighton isn’t as good a 5/8. As he’s just not a natural 5/8. Even if they bought him to play centre.
If Luai was there right now, he could well be the halfback.

The Panthers need to give Gina Rinehart a call. She might like the idea of outshining Twiggy? Perhaps $2.4 million per year , which she’d hardly notice? Black is ever popular in clothing, or she could wear the pink?
