Kick a club when they’re down. 😔 😂

Bulldogs grab moral victory, but Melbourne take the two points as Storm overcome Foxx hat trick in comeback win

Every comment I’ve given since I apologised. Has been light hearted banter.
You can make up all the lists you like?
You still made the ‘same’ mistake of thinking that I’m being dead serious with each reply. That hat now not fit well with you?
Other than that , don’t care .
GB is more light hearted than you. 😂

Not a rule at all. It’s just difficult to tell if you’re joking from your typed comment?
Obviously I was talking about the part , where you’re giving chocolates to West’s.
Next time I’ll try to be more exact, for you.
I couldn’t be bothered reading your bio. Is that a rule? 😂
However it is currently unfortunate for you that you’re not a Storm supporter .
Seems that you get pretty serious, even when an apology is given? Then can’t understand any light hearted banter in return yourself . 👍

As a Melbourne supporter. Don’t you just read a players name who starts playing for Melbourne’s first grade side & ask ‘ Queenslander , or where are they from ’? 👍

No rules at all. You forgot your smiley face. As you disguise your amusing comments so well, that they don’t look amusing . So my apologies! 😁
On the face value of it , your comment wasn’t based on any fact. So I gave a reply , accordingly . I read GB’s comments all the time about Penrith & he’s mostly serious . Just have some banter with him now.

They bought him from Penrith, when he was already a developed player. He’d gone all the way through the Penrith junior system. Was then already touted as a possible top player, for Penrith’s first grade side. Then West’s bought him, stuffed him around & sold him on. Having said that, they didn’t have luck with him there . As he had some serious injuries in his time there.
So you don’t know anything much about him either.

You’re still wondering how Phil Gould missed out on him as well?
Opposition teams should have to pay a transfer fee , for the players that have actually been developed already by Penrith or anyone else. Loosen up a bit of the different billionaires pocket change. 😁

Very well played by the Bulldogs. Certainly improving a lot. Just for one supporter…The winning try was scored by another Panther , Shawn Blore . 😁

Ask the English Cricket side.

Wow !!! I love this story!
As soon as I saw it & read it , I was having a good laugh. Not because of the content , which is more than likely very accurate. It was because of the indignant response & argument, that was certainly coming your way .
By the way . Your timing for this story is as impeccable! 😂
As there’s a certain name dropping ( of former & current players ) expert on the site . That can’t stand anything that isn’t 100% positive about the club in question. Even if your story was a pretty non offensive few lines, woe is you for daring to put a story like this on here. First the response would have to be how dumb you are, as your stats are wrong . ( Regardless of them most likely being spot on ) Then it’s the , you don’t understand. You’re kicking the club while it’s down. 👍
As this certain individual said that I only know about Penrith. That must make me an expert about this subject matter. ( Former Panthers & all ).
So Kikua can win a club games. Did so against the Roosters & made Young & Manu look silly while doing so , for one half.
He can change games with charge downs, good runs, catching bombs. Or even when tackling. Such as a 12-10 win for Penrith against the Storm. When he somehow prevented Olam putting the ball down for a try. With seconds remaining.
He has also been called very lazy many times. That your stats reflect.
Main reason he’s at the club is that he did help Penrith win games. Plus Gould had Laundry money galore to spend. He just loves Penrith. So shops there often. Amongst many other places. Must love Newcastle too now. As the Bulldogs now permanently live in the Knights pocket.
You’re just not allowed to say so! Even as a bit of harmless ribbing . 😂

Don't believe the hype: Why did Bulldogs fork out big bucks for the most overrated player in the NRL?

Still replying hey. Can’t even stick to what you say to start with.
Have no answer to the buying up virtually a whole first grade side. So you go off on random tangents.
I just started with a simple comment about one player, possibly not going to get into first grade . As he could be blocked by the clubs buys. You’ve no real reply to that , as you can see that that’s a real possibility.
Not replying to that rubbish, yet here you are. Not too good with living up to your own promises.
By the way. Even Skeleton is a Queenslander 👍

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

Gifted the world’s biggest junior area. That’s a myth. So double yawn for that . Hear that from GB?
Broncos area is bigger to start with.
Who isn’t in Sydney’s outer west buying juniors up from the area ? Roosters, South’s, West’s, Parramatta, Cronulla, Bulldogs, Manly… Most clubs are there & Manly set up at Blacktown Workers. That’s if they aren’t buying them directly out of Penrith’s junior rep sides as well.
A bit of a point about the central west Yet, at least Penrith do put money into that area with coaching, running Panthers teams etc.
Not sure that Newcastle requires any help from the Bulldogs?
By the way , if the Bulldogs have no real future where they are ? Going by your own comments & by few juniors there. Why don’t they move!
Go to the north coast , Toowoomba, NZ permanently.
They aren’t going to have any new ground at home now.
From my original small comment. Let me know when Penrith is buying many expensive top line players! They actually just look to their lower grades , for so many of their own players in first grade.
By the way… Looks like you’re still replying to that rubbish! 😂

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

Yet you did feel the need to not only read the comment, but to also reply to it.
Seems I know about the areas the Bulldogs are buying up talent , to start with. Plus have placed comments about many subjects. You’ve also replied to many of them . Or not continued to replied, when you couldn’t come up with any decent reply.
You could have just ignored the first comment? It wasn’t so harsh. Just a bit of ribbing .

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

I may get sick of it , if the Bulldogs pass the ball out & it doesn’t look like a Panthers side , combined with a few others?
Well the Dogs have bought plenty of juniors & areas lately. Lake Macquarie & all around Newcastle. An area of NZ. Toowoomba, Queensland. Probably missed some as well. So after I don’t mention the never ending buys . I guess Newcastle & other supporters will take up the banner.
Touchy, touchy. I don’t think I’ve mentioned the buying much at all ? The original comment was a fair one , even if you didn’t like it. …👍

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

He’s a western suburbs lad. Maybe he should give the Panthers a call ? See if they’ll give him a go in NSW Cup next season, to start with. Would only be on a basic contract amount, but better than nothing.

With all the buying that the Dogs do, Skelton’s path may well be blocked. Time for some other clubs to get in touch with his manager.

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

Any bit of success. All these players values jump up & you can say bye , bye to half of them . Plus the best of those playing lower grades.

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

All this when before the season started , the experts predicted that no coach in the NRL was likely to be up for the axe this season.
Yet the blade could be being sharpened for a possible 3 coaches , after just 5 rounds. South’s coach is very worried. Surely not for a new coach at the Titans? Yet are we so sure? Parramatta’s coach has been as slippery as his clubs logo for some seasons . Maybe he can slip away again once Moses returns?
( Newcastle’s coach is a possible 4th . A bit worried & hoping for a continued turnaround this Autumn. )

NRL News: Schuster granted personal leave, Mal expresses Souths interest as Demetriou fights to save job

So you’re saying that the player must be paid market value? That has to be enforced by the NRL?
Walsh knocked back $1.5 Million per season, to take $1.1 Million per season & stay at the Broncos. Which is evidently also the most Brisbane has ever paid for a player. I don’t for one minute think that this is the only payment that he’d be getting to stay. There is some other way that they’d be topping that up.
Yet the NRL auditor didn’t insist that the Broncos pay him the market value, for his NRL contract.

NRL News: Sea Eagles show Schuster the door, Eels encounter 'market value' hitch in Lomax deal, Reynolds eyes early return

That’s true. If the NRL does accept that he’s only worth $500-$600,000. The fact the the story is saying that they will need to get permission, to get a contract under $700,000 . Suggests that the auditor may think he’s worth that $700,000?
Would he be happy on $500,000? I wouldn’t think so.
So not sure why Penrith have to pay Cleary possibly $1.4 million per season. When no one else gets paid that much . Plus, if he’s happy to take less. He’s not getting through any full season, without a break.

NRL News: Sea Eagles show Schuster the door, Eels encounter 'market value' hitch in Lomax deal, Reynolds eyes early return

Manly will be paying a lot for Schuster for a couple of years. As he possibly plays NSW Cup level elsewhere.

NRL News: Sea Eagles show Schuster the door, Eels encounter 'market value' hitch in Lomax deal, Reynolds eyes early return

The NRL does get involved with player contract values. For example, Nathan Cleary wanted to take a cut on his new contract. To allow more money to be available, to try & keep Luai. Well before he signed with West’s. Yet the NRL interfered, by saying that Cleary’s new contract , had to represent his current market value.
I agree with you that it’s none of their business. Yet they do it anyway, with some players contracts.

You’d have to think that it’s better having Talagi at centre than Harper?

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

Blaize Talagi should stay in first grade at Parramatta, in the centres.

NRL Round 6 Team Lists: Cleary suffers setback, Walsh return confirmed but Riki under cloud, Big Phin out

At least every team playing each other once , before any second games against one side. ( Then a draw for the clubs who you play twice that year before the season starts ), those teams you then play after playing everyone once. Makes for a more even draw overall. As it’s unlikely that there’ll ever be playing every side twice. Then the teams that you play twice also varies from year to year.
Who cares if all Queensland sides don’t play each other twice every year.
