A lot of emotion going through people right now. The call was botched, but those calling out conspiracy or that a fix was in have their minds clouded by the emotion of it. Because that is a stupid take in the modern era of professional sports.
What would have been worse with that call. If he kept it 6 again and that was the wrong call, and the Raiders won by 1? Or he got the call wrong originally, and the bunker told him the right call? It was a terrible human error that should not have happened but that did not win the Roosters the game, or lose it for the Raiders.
All that call did was rob the Roosters of having a legitimate win. Not robbing the Raiders of a win, who could not crack the Roosters defence, or stop the Roosters from 85ms out.
People need to take the emotion out of it. It was a dud call in which there should be ramifications after they review the game. But that did not decide the outcome of this game.

This is how I see it as well.
The ref call did not rob the Raiders. It robbed the Roosters of a legitimate win.
