The problem is the English team’s cherries are all on the edges of their bats

Bollocks to the doom merchants - Super Rugby 2024 offers Australian rugby its most glorious opportunity

Is Usman completely ignorant of the fact Marnus has been opening at 3 for the last 3 years anyway?
Not sure of ‘opening-itis’, but sick of opening, maybe.

Uzzy and Warner's manager fire back at 'ignorant' Johnson over sandpaper sledge: 'Go to the moon for a holiday, just a joke'

The Matildas win a lot of games and have a hugely marketable star.
Winning is the ultimate salve.

'You can't sell a secret': Biggest issues facing Australian rugby - and why it's in better shape than meets the eye

Unfortunately he has already said that he isn’t interested in coming back.
Also, he already proposed what he thought the way forward should be, a d the states said no.

New chair says Aussie rugby must end 'sugar hit' approach, 'fears' for game's future if reform doesn't occur quickly

…below the shoulders, perhaps.

Bang on. I thought that given what we took to France, we achieved about what we should have.
Would the 3 players left home really have lifted the ceiling THAT much?

CONFIRMED: Eddie blames RA for early exit as Woodward calls for Rennie apology, ex-ABs coach linked to role

Just imagine how good England could be if their backs ran as much as their waterboys.
Or if they planned as much detail in their play as they do the roster for whose turn it is to pretend to be injured.
I guess what I’m saying is… imagine how good they could be if they put as much h energy into playing rugby as much they currently do into not playing rugby.

'The players deserved better': Cheika's fury returns as England hang on against Argentina to win RWC bronze medal

Underwhelming? Did you not watch any of the Quarter finals?
And no – the 2 best and in form teams were not knocked out early. They are in the final – that is how tournaments work.

All of the hand wringing about cricket scores and devaluing progressing from the pool – so what? Are we hung up on the value of progressing from the pool because we failed to at this tournament?
Making the quarters/semis will still be the mark of the better teams, and the ‘Tier 2’ nations will see more wins at the tournament. Fair price to pay.

Breathe easy Aussies, World Rugby has devalued the 2027 RWC by expansion - and even the Wallabies are safe

Any player who is permanently scarred by being knocked out at the group stage, or ‘never recovers’ from it… should be fired out of Wallabies camp from a cannon. Grow up.

Richie McCaw's cautionary tale for Rugby Australia - and his message to the Wallabies following RWC flop

Tell us you don’t understand Zombie without telling us you don’t understand Zombie

Good, the Bad, the Eddie: Bok hails AB for 'best display I've ever seen', Kolbe confounds, 'classless' Rieko claim

Amen.
Eddie perhaps didn’t get us as far as he should have; but anyone who thought we were getting to the semis, even with the path laid out for us, has rocks in their head.

The three contenders to take over the Wallabies if Eddie Jones walks

The coach should be sacked if the group is underachieving under his stewardship.
But I ask this – is failing to advance from the group we are in REALLY underachieving given the players we have? I would also add anyone who genuinely believes we were a chance to lift the trophy should be in a straightjacket.

COMMENT: Eddie must be axed if he can't beat Wales - or the game will be in deep trouble in Australia

I would not say a bullish picture for 2027.
I’d never be bullish about a team with Donaldson at 10. More in reference to the youth policy.
I am a drowning man and this is my serpent.

'We're the ones out there': Wallabies go in to bat for under-siege Eddie ahead of must-win World Cup clash

Being penalised 8 times WHILE IN POSSESSION wasn’t part of the tactics or the game plan.
I would also say that if you view what is happening as the best course for this RWC, it looks weird.
If you look at it as a long run up for 2027, it makes far more sense.

…and now?

Forget the ladder - the Lions have never been further away from a flag

While I rather enjoy seeing England taking licks, I am sick of this lazy, mindless response.
‘Blame the previous administration!’
Borthwick was literally hired to change the direction of the team.

'Not good enough': England in disarray as Fiji pull off historic win to emerge as World Cup's darkest horse

The enthusiasm for the Dogs is astounding, considering they are a team with no offence and no defence.
It happens year after year.

Forget the ladder - the Lions have never been further away from a flag

I also think a tape measure for Dickson next game.
It is 3 clean phases or 15 metres, not 50…

Bledisloe heartbreak: Eddie's Wallabies denied by last minute Mo'unga penalty as ABs seal stunning comeback

From the side, no doubt

'Fancy ourselves against New Zealand': Eddie excited for 'highlight' of year, says Bledisloe result won't define RWC

‘Trans-Tasman rivals’.

Is it really a rivalry when one teams wins 70% of the games?

'Why is Quade running this team?': All Blacks great doubles down on selection issue, Fozzie says Eddie is 'right'

…because less than 1% of players reach that mark?

Six Points: Defending Josh Rachele, the Blues' unsung hero, and why the Dogs would be mad to sack Bevo

If I was as bad at my job as Warner, I wouldn’t keep it.
His average across 2020 to now is 28.
Exclude one innings against a mediocre attack on a road and it is 23.

Even if he has ‘Sandpapergate’ secrets, Warner should be dropped - but who'll take his spot?

Am I the only one that is of the opinion that it isn’t Quade’s job to mentor Carter? That is Eddy’s job.
It is Quade’s job to keep Carter on the bench.
And Carter’s to put Quade there.

'Player of the future': Jones' praise for Gordon as Horan calls on young gun to start for Wallabies

Then STAY IN YOUR CREASE.
Sorry, but it is that simple.

'If we did the same I’d think it was hilarious': The Pom and the Aussie debate stumpings, bouncers and the Leeds decider

Bazball’s contribution is increasing the likelihood of a win by either team.
It is a natural way for this English tram to play.
If they retain this style with a less talented group, they get skittled for less than 100 and tests are over in 2 days.

Why Bazball will never save Test cricket - and England didn't 'win' no matter what they claim
