And the Suns wont want him to go the PSD either so a deal will get done, they always do – it will get done for a first round pick maybe a smidgen extra. Lets be honest the salaries reported by the journos are never accurate – be extremely surprised if the Crows are paying $4mil over 5 years.

No sexual assault, pleading not guilty to assault – even if he gets done they will give him a stern talking to as he has been a naught boy – but he will be fine. I hope he has a good year to bore it up one and all and hopefully then the Crows can get at Maynard as a free agent – 😁

Agree – I think the AFL has admitted that they have to work the MSRD a bit better. I still feel sorry for the losing clubs it could grill their finals aspirations.

You did mention the picks gifted to the Suns from the AFL – that gravy train is about to end and given the mismanagement in the club with your initial players list and the AFL imposing staff in the club, it will be interesting to see if your club can stand on its own two feet.

Crows are only looking at max 4 players pick 1 & 9 they will use on new talent however they have committed to Borlaise and Newchurch and they have picks 22 & 23 left.

Dont be so sure Chanon, I think you may find that the Crows will pick MacDonald as good as JUH maybe, MacDonald has runs on the board JUH does not – to me easy decision.

Totally agree it is hard to go past MacDonald given his year. JUH unfortunately hasnt played this year and is slightly more of a unknown. Good luck to the Doggies in getting him but for mine the Crows will pick MacDonald purely on his past year – impressive young footballer.

So what you are saying is that the AFL should decide who is the first pick regardless of his affiliation, however the Crows may feel that MacDonald or Holland (dont think Thilthorpe will be considered given Himmelberg’s rise this year) will fill their needs – MacDonald has some serious runs on the board this year.

I think nearly every club in the past have stated that they will consider to trade the No1 pick, however it would take something special for that to occur and then the Crows would almost have to be certain that the player they want would be there.

Whilst you Doggies may think you are nabbing the No 1 draft pick not so sure even if JUH is available the Crows would pick him over Logan Macdonald given Logan’s year – 11.2 disposals, 4 marks, 2.4 goals/game as an 18 y.o. in the WAFL as well as RU Leading Goal kicker, Team of the Year etc, I think they use the term Generational Player when they speak of him.
