I always said the Mariners would be much better becoming an NRL club based in Gosford. Bigger crowds by 10,000 +, more money, much more exposure, bigger local support base, great junior setup, no one running the game for their own benefit. NRL is the number one sport on the east coast. We need a footy club locals want to follow

“Old white men”. The term is ageist and racist.
I have covered Rugby League since 1967 and my knowledge of the game has been used by esteemed writers like Ian Heads.
You wrote the term “Old white men” in a derogatory manner and I think you should adjust it to “experienced and knowledgeable men”.
