The Lions tour is or will be a sellout….aka they will make a healthy profit in the coming year.
The priority now is getting the house in order….starting at the ground roots and working up…not the Suaalii/Jorgensen top down approach

Rugby Australia announce $9.2m deficit, board member fails to be re-elected but coup falls over

Who said it was only 10s? Not me, that’s your myopic lens

'Purely coincidental': Chiefs coach defends bruiser after ANOTHER late shot leaves Tah flattened - but was it legal?

It was an example genius, but a very prominent one

'Purely coincidental': Chiefs coach defends bruiser after ANOTHER late shot leaves Tah flattened - but was it legal?

Being a NZ tactic since day dot. Just ask S. Larkham who the kiwis rated as high as any Australian player in the last 30 years, copped it hard and right on the cusp of late , match after match

Probably right about Max, but i think the ARU got sucked in by the threats of poaching by the Roosters which I suspect was a well organised bluff.

Brumbies make it 12 straight against Tahs as Bell hobbles off in worrying sign for Wallabies

The Brumbies will be stronger and their rugby even better and they are not going well financially either….so it’s an easy fix and a win win

'We've got three pay cheques left': Rebels given glimmer of hope - but the clock is still ticking

Just merge with the Brumbies, have a draft for the rebels players, which favours the Force.
Play half the games in Melbourne and half in Canberra..
Sorted….

Apart from the crazy decision not to stick with HMP, the Reds will continue to suffer with Hunter at 12. There is simply to ‘brilliance’ in attack. HP is predictable and easily covered. I am sure Jock’s role is to add that spark, but his timing to do it was sadly astray last night. Same for Jordie, but he does suffer the droppsies. Second week in a row McReight was stifled by the opposition…have they worked him out?
Like BV, Wilson’s efforts are hit and miss with both going missing at times and far too much is suddenly thrust upon Liam Wright. It’s an issue for Kiss.
Pity Tom Lynagh didn’t learn to kick like his contemporaries when in the Northern Hemisphere, who most kick low and dead straight…he needs lots of practice

'It was brutal': Clutch Lolesio kicks Brumbies to 'Test match intensity' win over Reds as Wright shines again

Nah…. otherwise the Reds, who poach from TSS and Nudgee etc would be the same

'Something's not working': Tahs' Good Friday turns into a nightmare as Rebels recruit Daugunu seals upset win

I’ve wondered for years why the Tahs have had virtually no big islander props, hardly any in the forward pack at all. They are the only team I can think of like this….why is it so

'Something's not working': Tahs' Good Friday turns into a nightmare as Rebels recruit Daugunu seals upset win

HMP is tad unlucky, he and Lynagh are quite similar, but my inkling was HMP may have a touch more class. Dropped for LC seems a poor decision.

Super Rugby teams week six: Foketi back after horror injury, Suli benched, Sam Carter set for debut, DMac rested

One major change to the Reds was Hunter in at 12.
He runs hard, but everyone in the opposition knows he doesn’t pass and as a result the Reds attack is shutdown quite easily, time after time.

Reds' 'unbelievable, unfathomable' double disaster sums up shocker as Force spring stunning upset

To be fair to Hunter he did pass once, first time in about 3 years

Everyone, but mainly the blokes, will be proud wearing a “Map of Tassie” on their outfit

Devils ready to raise hell: AFL's newest club goes back to the future with traditional jumper as stadium furore rages on

I’ll have to watch again, in the game I saw last he missed touch from a penalty, cut in twice when had an overlap, ran when he had an overlap, did a silly grabber to hand back possession, then did a great pass for a try and was suddenly a genius.

'No one backed us': $8 outsiders Waratahs upset Crusaders AGAIN as Edmed steps up to deliver famous win

Players get a whack to head and don’t ‘feel’ it all that much doesn’t mean it hasn’t done any damage.
Perhaps some fine tuning about extent needs to be done for sure, but it’s not going away and looking at some older players, it shouldn’t.

DMac injured ahead of Brumbies clash, smart mouthguard leaves All Black's mouth agape as he's hooked at crucial moment

Hard to disagree with what was said, but having a history of head knocks registered from a young age, via mouthguards, would IMO, help a great deal in assessing each individuals susceptibility to damage

The Wrap: Concussion is a key area where Australian rugby can become a leader, not a follower

Both the AFL, who announced a deal last week, and the NRL on Friday, announced deals with HITIQ to use their impact mouthguards for head knocks, in a far ranging commercial deal and a 4 team comprehensive trial respectively. The deals cover men and women.
Where is the rugby deal?
Who is leading in this regard…not Rugby

The tears of a clown

Green makes most of promotion but questions remain over best spot as Bartlett's burst propels Aussies to victory

Thank you, I see it now, told you I was stupid

'I thought I was done and dusted': Tears flow after emotional Marsh wins surprise AB Medal as Ash snares women's top gong

I am pretty stupid…who was the Test player of the year

'I thought I was done and dusted': Tears flow after emotional Marsh wins surprise AB Medal as Ash snares women's top gong

For me…
Test player of the Year…Cummins….
One day player of the year…Maxwell….
Don’t know why they don’t have those awards….
Best overall player….Mitch was very good…best, not sure

'I thought I was done and dusted': Tears flow after emotional Marsh wins surprise AB Medal as Ash snares women's top gong

He didn’t do his job at all…he got out. If he hadn’t we would won. Silly comment.
His bowling wasn’t terrific, he got one wicket in the Test.

Test Mortem: Green’s golden status fading as batting unit becomes fragile, Windies need help to kick on from Gabba glory

Cam needs more than a couple of FC games. There are many, especially here on the Roar, that have no understanding of the step up in class to Test from Shield cricket.
Some clown even suggested that Shield was the highest level in Australia ….shows a complete ignorance of high level sport.

Besieged batting duo face moment of truth with Windies setting Aussies tricky target as Marnus slump continues

Worn out…at 23….poor guy
