Hey J…No I didn’t mention anything about the amazing effort of the Soviet Union during WWII to turn the tide of the war. Nor did I mention anything about the millions of people killed under Stalin’s brutal regime post-WWII. I tried to focus on the conflicts and crimes Russia has committed since the Socci Olympics.

No I absolutely agree. It’s ridiculous that the Federal Government has tipped millions into the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood training facilities. And I don’t see why the Vic State Government should be paying for the AFL Grand Final to stay in Melbourne. But with the WC a week off its an issues that I felt needed addressing.

Hey Lion…I agree you can debate as to why some airlines chose to fly anywhere near Ukraine. But the problem is Russia has not excepted any responsibility for the downing of the aircraft. Its response has been that the aircraft was shot down by a Ukranian airforce pilot. Absolutely no evidence suggests that this was the case. If Russia came forward, admitted responsibility and argued their case in a court of law then the family of those killed would be able to get some sense of justice.
