Let’s hope so!

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

Elspeths knock back was clearly “cynical” and stopped a provable try: should have been a yellow card.

Very well said. Let’s see what Eddie says today, but, for consistency reasons, I hope he stays. If not: go now. I hope the players are resilient enough to listen to Ritchie’s advice & accept there are good & not so good parts of their game & work like a man possessed to improve their games as “redemption”. We’ve all been in those positions in life: you have a choice: grow or whither away, it’s your choice.

Thanks Spiro: wasn’t it Fiji that beat England rather than Argentina just before RWC?

Mmmm…why take the job if only to resign before the RWC? Surely, he knew what Eddy was like. But, like most employment contracts, I assume it had a “probationary period”, but maybe not. Maybe he was “let go” (aka “personal reasons”) or maybe he just wasn’t up to it and left for the sake of his mental health (which is absolutely acceptable). Either way, he is gone, let’s move forward.

Exclusive: 'We'll improve': Eddie's parting shot at Wallabies assistant after sensationally quitting RWC campaign

Good comment. I’m definitely not as negative as some of the comments about EJ’s selections. As an ex-9, I really feel for Lonergan, the best 9 in the country but some plus his goal-kicking. He’s the unluckiest player in my view – a clear future leader. But, also interested to see what IF brings, but still, Lonergan is younger.

The Wrap: Is Eddie Jones playing the role of Keyser Soze or Frank Drebin?

Agreed: Rebels we’re actually my favourite team to watch (but their No.9 needs to improve his passing game) & genuinely think they lets some games slip from their grasp.

Geez: that’s harsh! I’m a Tahs fan but the Rebels/Brums next favourite. Loved CG this year!

Brumbies' back three go big to book home quarterfinal and end Rebels' season

I think EJ wants to make a call early on SV: keep or ditch

Wallabies winners and losers: Eddie has gone away from Rennie's 'form' principle and backed his eye

The problem with Tate is his passing (core skill for 9) is scratchy!

Agree: I think Suli is picked so EJ can either stick/cut him early from consideration. I think SV’s selection is smart: he may not be there next round & we can stop talking about him.

Good call. It was worst part of game in respect of viewing, my girlfriend just didn’t understand (nor me if I’m honest) & slowed/stopped game for too long! It turns people off.

The rivalry is anything but dead: Brumbies win epic over Tahs in best Aussie derby of the year

Agreed: ref also played a very short “advantage” for rebels. I that Ione’s defence was very poor.

Drua deliver another statement to visiting Super sides as Rebels crash in Suva

Classic game! Well done Brums. I was very surprised ref’s didn’t have a look at pass from White to Slipper as it looked a meter forward. Bring back Edmed.

I’m a rugby fan whilst most of my mates now watch League. I was so looking forward to watching the reds. But, feel just like you. What is Thorn doing? He’s been there 3? Years. The players have been together for about the same. It was just awful. I wanted them to lose in the end: just so many stupid mistakes/lack skill.
