Halligan, Hazem and JT for me. They could kick them from anywhere on any given day and under pressure in big games. Not always straight in front. As Geoff said above Halligan would take them from further out than most too.

Sydney needs to lose clubs for NRL to grow. Nothing is forever and humans are quite adept at adaptation despite the resistance to change they fear. If you love the game and the colours / team you chose you will follow your team regardless.
If not remain stuck in the past believing it used to be better in your time and stop being part of the problem. I’m a Canterbury supporter since 79 born and bred in Brisbane and if they were relocated I’m not going to stop watching the game I grew up with or vocally supporting MY TEAM.

State of Origin Game 2: Why NSW will win
The way the game has been reffed for the at least the last 5 years in all matches is of far greater concern to me. The more adjudicators involved the easier it would be to manipulate match outcomes and share blame. Thus enabling what appears to be a very close even competition when it is anything but.
Conspiracy theory it may well be, however I’m finding it harder and harder to ignore some decisions made. I still watch and support my teams albeit not as passionately or with the same interest as I used too (QLD Origin team being the exception). On the upside for myself with the rise of M.M.A. I now can and do prefer to pay for the U.F.C. as a genuine hard fought contest.

There is no doubt they are shielding Connor from serious threats as it would kill the juggernaut instantly much like the Rousey one was once Holly got her hands on her. They didn’t want him to fight Khabib at 155 for that very reason. Although at least with this fight I’m happy to see either go nighty night.

Whole immortal thing is a non event for me. Like many people on here have stated in previous revisions of this topic. NRL should do something about recognizing the history and celebrating it more with Hall of Fame properly done.
Designate status levels within the hall of fame of Elite, Legend, Immortal, etc reflecting the players acheivements and contribution to the game. Pay tribute to coaches and others that have had a significant impact on getting the game to where it currently stands, encompassing super league era with it.
Off field behavior should definitely play a contributing factor. If you have acted in a way that brings bad publicity to the game you should be excluded from the highest honor. You can still be admitted albeit at a lower status.

Where State of Origin 1 will be won and lost
The two halves that will come out on top in round 10 are JT and Coops. I have serious concerns for N.S.W. this year. If QLD stay fit and uninjured its going to be a very long series for the Blues. Refs are the biggest concern just like every NRL an SOO game in the last 2 years.
