Not all AFL picks are created equal
I like seeing a numerical representation of how well a team is doing at things that are critical to winning games. You do this really well, Adrian. Thanks for doing what not many are doing well, if at all!
The value in your analysis is that it shows who is doing well at what, and in comparison to others.
I’m surprised by North Melbourne’s numbers. Watching them, I’d think they were doing better than most at a few things. But, like your numbers show, even though North are 10th in the competition for inside-50s and clearances (on differential), they convert those chances into goals!
Man I wish the Doggies had more tall forward talent!! Don’t get me wrong, the Dogs have great talent across the whole field (those stats they’re smashing everyone else on make me gush!!), but imagine what we would be if we had some of North’s forward power!
