It is only a soccer player, who cares, if it was a AFL player it would be front page tomorrow and the bloke whether guilty, innocent or most likely somewhere in between would be hounded 24/7 and duly convicted by trial by media.

Do you have the stats for this year ?, is there a lot of draws this year ?, how many goals are actually kicked rather than headed, deflected etc would be a good start and interesting.

Haven’t watched a game all year, would not have a clue who plays or ladder positions etc but i will watch a good flare shooting and soccer riot, that is entertainment.

Many people are attracted to violence or the possibility of it, particularly young blokes, a reason to see it may mean getting along to game, in essence for these blokes soccer is secondary.
