McDermot OK but way rating too high.

I had a mate at the presser and he said what Tony Harper said was not true. Eddie had had enough by the time the journos realised they needed to start being positive about our national team. It was too late to wheel Eddie back in by then. My mate said it was the journos who appeared to have turned up with the agenda Such a pity the lads leave on a World Cup without the support of the media

What do you want, the same old team run out again. Should we get Ashley Cooper back and Kurtley? Quade is not the answer and Hoops is potentially an injury risk. If they feel hard done by then that’s tough luck, that is Eddies way (right or wrong). They all knew it – why do they think they were above it.
Eddie is crazy but look back over the last 20 years, we have been sliding and sliding.
I am ready for change to see the Wallabies flourish again and if it hurts a few feelings of the old boys along the way then i’m sorry lads but we need to do something drastic.
If Quade was serious he would be on the plane playing for Australia A where he still is in with a chance. He decided not to.

Great article. I think it all boils down to this sentence – “more phased attacks before lobbing the ball back to the All Blacks for additional G-force bull riding”.

Agreed. They’re either relics or Kiwis but they missed the point, no surprises there. There’s no doubt the kiwis were the better side but within the wallabies was much improvement. Aussies didn’t become 7th in the world because of EJ. He’s just trying to change something in the group, if his bluster method works in all for it

The All blacks scored 26 points when we had a man in the bin, otherwise we were close. Of course Eddie talked a big game, that’s what he does. If you couldn’t see green shoots then you’re in the wrong job.

It’s a solid suggestion Christy. I don’t think Quado has done much wrong (nor did you imply it) he simply has not had any ball. Nic White on the other hand is too vanilla for me, his plan to kick the ball at all costs no matter where you are – i don’t get it. The Wallabies play their best with ball in hand (at least they used to). Let’s go with your suggestion, go hard and see what happens in the first game then tinker after if we need. Hopefully we don’t need to.
