What Roar could do is take as many games outside of The City of Brisbane Local Government Area as possible as a form of Protest and to show the lack of Suitable Venues in The City of Brisbane Local Government Area, we have plenty of Regional Centres, The NRL for example have a regular season game in Bundaberg of all places.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

There is NO DEMAND for a 2nd A-League team in Brisbane all that would do is either fold within 5 seasons if they suck or kill Roar if there any good.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Davis Park does get the Blue Glider Bus, which is pretty frequent, but the stop is pretty basic but ultimately West End is Green on all 3 levels of government and the Hipsters that live out that way as well as the Greens politicians that people vote for there don’t want sport or any major developments out that way beyond public transport plus they also would not want the West End Markets taken away as those are at Davis Park every Saturday.

QE2 in addition to costs to upgrade the Stadium would also needs millions invested in Public Transport which I just don’t see happening just so people can go Roar games as both the Firebirds and Bullets are meant to move their games to Brisbane Live post Olympics plus in an age where we are trying to cut carbon emissions, we can’t be encouraging people to drive.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Davis Park is politically impossible plus the roads in the area could not handle matchday traffic.

QE2 is an athletics facility 1st and foremost and Public Transport in the area is crap especially if coming from the Northside which means the only option is driving but you have to pay for parking.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

I think the issue was playing their full time, at this stage the only options for Roar would be to split games between Suncorp and either Ballymore (if QRU replace the lights) or Kayo.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Aussie Youth as well we also like to give fringe Aussie players a chance as well.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Full Time at Suncorp is just not financially viable for the Roar, QRU need to get those lights replaced at Ballymore otherwise I see no alternative but for Roar to split games between Suncorp and Redcliffe at least for the time being.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

People like that like to forget we are one of the 4 clubs that have kept the Newcastle Jets afloat, and we are one of the very few clubs that gives youth a chance when no one else will.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

I don’t see you guys moving Josh on as him being the only openly Gay player in the Men’s league is good PR for your club, the only reason I could see other clubs wanting him is because he is openly gay and again makes for good PR.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

I don’t follow traditional media what’s Clive done this time?

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Actually, the A does not stand for anything officially.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Under FA Control you might have an argument, but the APL’s priority is the viability of the league itself if that means Auckland is more commercially viable then Tasmania for example then so be it, Development of Aussie Players falls under the FA and State Feds not the APL.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

I don’t know enough about all those sites to comment on all of them but Davies Park in West End no chance, the Green voting NIMBYS in the area would fight it plus the roads in the Area could not handle matchday traffic.

I reckon the Doomben Racecourse would be worth a look as the site is massive, there is public transport nearby, close to the M1, close to the Airport we don’t need 2 horse racing tracks right next to each other and I think it would far less opposition to getting rid of Doomben rather than Eagle Farm.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Some have suggested Blue and Black like inter but the favourite seems to be Blue and White like the Auckland Rugby NPC team.

https://www.austadiums.com/news/1360/10m-pledge-for-boutique-ipswich-stadium

I suspect that if Brisbane were to get a Boutique Stadium it would be a Ballymore redevelopment at this stage. as it seems this will be the cheapest and least challenging option politically but it leaves Roar at the Mercy of the QRU.

Perry Park, it seems Strikers won’t play ball and share and that killed the Brisbane United NSD bid.

Only other option is maybe an expanded Langland’s park but like Ballymore you are at the mercy of another sport in this case Easts.

Places like Kayo Stadium and an Upgraded North Ipswich Reserve would be great for the odd game but to many would complain about a fulltime move to somewhere outside of the CBD.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Hope not I suspect if a Gold Coast Team were to go ahead this time round would have an overseas owner.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Ipswich only cares about League these days there all Broncos fans out that way.

If there is to be a 2nd QLD it will be the Gold Coast more money down, there then in Ipswich.

Say what you want about NZ but Auckland found an owner pretty quickly while Canberra is still looking that’s an objective fact.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Ah your one of those NZ out types makes sense.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Why do you hate the nix so much?

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

No one wants the name to be Black Knights except Foley

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Black is the Colour of NZ, but Blue is the Colour of Auckland just like Yellow is the colour of Wellington.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

For me it works out as the Nix game against City is on around the same time as the Red V Chiefs Union game I’m going to

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

My guess is that Roar will play about half at Suncorp and Half at either Ballymore (if the lights are done) or Redcliffe it was playing full time at Redcliffe that Roar Fans complained about.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

Strikers wont share and they have the exclusive rights to the Pitch.

The Roar's A-League Men tips and predictions: Round 20

If QLD gets a 2nd team it will be the Gold Coast that’s where a potential owner/s will want to invest not somewhere like Ipswich
