Good job Matt and refreshing to see some one notice Sunline’s 9 months of constant racing and travelling the season before she met Northerly.
The decision to race her on after 8 months and the exhausting race in Dubai flattened her the following spring and getting slaughtered by her jockey in the Manikato Stakes and the Feehan as a spring 6 year old with impatient rides didn’t help.
One of the many reasons Waller has given for not travelling Winx is that a horse tends to lose 1/2 of their next season if they are taken to the Northern hemisphere.

Sunline was taken to the Northern hemisphere twice as a 5 year old.

I would agree with a guy called Bart Cummings who said of Sunline after her second Cox Plate that he ” hadn’t seen a better one in 50 years “
