Current side has A long tail . Inglis should be in for Carey . The current crop are too comfortable – They all know it’s harder to be dropped than picked – and that is wrong

It’s harder getting dropped than picked and that will be the end of Aus test cricket for about 10 years (border style , with no border ). But their is Wk/quicks depth

Been thinking of this for a while . Look at early / mid 80s – All the stars retired same time . Then you had the Hayden/Langer/Warne/Ponting / Gilchrist era
It’s like an am NFL team . You must blood draft rookies with veterans . It must be a blended merge . It’s the sane here.
Then you have the players that like Labs/Starc /Carey who need time out of the side to regain form . Inglis in for Carey , that’s one problem fixed .
However, watching the Sheffield Shield on Kayo, the batting standard isn’t the best . Not many up and comers , but a lot if has-beens. Aus has great fast bowling depth
Unless the selectors , labs, smith , Starc improve their form – big trouble

Never been able to like Warner . A flawed individual , who can bat . Without cricket where / what would be of Warner . Not a great peer to young players .
