Just love the Aussie humour in the comments below, thanks! From a SA cricket fan.

'Didn't really have any support': Warner takes latest whack at CA over leadership ban ahead of 100th Test

What?

MATCH REPORT: Springboks edge All Blacks in one of the GREATEST Tests

No it doesn’t 😊

MATCH REPORT: Springboks edge All Blacks in one of the GREATEST Tests

Excellent post, thanks!

Best Barrett? Best Mo? Worst cliche? Still plenty to play for in TRC finale despite the inevitable results

Sorry, and the Republic of Ireland as well.

Springboks triumph in third Test, take series over Lions

FunBus, I actually do understand your sentiments re. BIL – for outsiders like me, the history, politics and terminology of the British Isles can be complicated (and we thought we had issues in South Africa). What is the solution? No more BL or BIL, only England, Scotland, Wales and ROI tests – which is what you seem to prefer as I understand. Should GB be removed from e.g. the Olympics, and we have England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland as separate “countries” as in the 6Nations and rugby tests? It’s complicated.

Springboks triumph in third Test, take series over Lions

Yawn, yawn, yawn … sweet dreams (unlikely).

Springboks triumph in third Test, take series over Lions

Maybe rather a slap in the face of the Lions (yep, I know you don’t like the ‘concept’, whatever that means)? Boks cynicism bordering on cheating/antics/circus? – stop scraping the barrel Fun.

FunBus, I typed a reply to one of your earlier posts – but then somehow didn’t click the right post button (Jappies ain’t compute savvy 😊) Please keep posting, your posts are hilarious – SA medics longer on the field than the players (you lost me there); SA TV director plotting to show only certain replay angles (conspiracy theory at its best); the end of BIL tours (the only positive outcome of this series in your opinion is that this ‘concept’ will be consigned to the dustbin) – why? (if the reason is commonwealth and god save the queen, then fine – but rugby-wise, no); artistic impression – Cheslin Kolbe trumped the BILs in that respect; Mongolian 3rd team – fine, but beware those horses and arrows, they conquered once before.

Keep posting 😊

FunBus, please keep posting, you really are funny:

> ‘No points for artistic impression” – Cheslin definitely scored artistically, not so?, as others did in the Aus-NZ Bledisloe today.
> “Bok cynicism bordering on cheating” – two words with completely different meanings that do not belong in the same sentence.
> “Obvious antics of the SA TV Director” – right up there with current conspiracy theories ( I thought the ref had a good game).
> “The Boks medical team also spent more time on the pitch than most of the players” – you lost me there, I’ll be damned, really?
> “I’m sure this will be the last ever tour to SA” – unlikely mate, we are part of the Commonwealth (warts and all), sorry. It will be a shame if Lions tours are “consigned to history” – but I doubt they will.

Keep up the posts 😊

Yes, I suppose it is – canny does not equal illegal 😁

Springboks triumph in third Test, take series over Lions

Take a deep breath, again … and this time, relax. It’s a game, not the end of the world (but maybe it is as you knew it). Take a leaf from your moniker.

Take a deep breath …

Springboks triumph in third Test, take series over Lions

Ah, the 60s – moon-landing, Vietnam war, counter-culture, Woodstock, nuclear threats, the decolonisation of African colonies, and 60’s rugby, there you go – how dare we (Boks and BIL) play that style of rugby again (whatever that was). This was attritional test rugby at its best – and as a Bok supporter, I thought a draw would have been an appropriate outcome, given the circumstances under which this series occurred.

The Cronje-Gandhi analogy is just plain silly.

FunBus – you really are Fun … ny.

The Springboks handle the British and Irish Lions 27-9 to level the series

Oyi Tom ( in one of the African languages “Oyi” means some one you hold in high regard, I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt here Tommy) but why the victory in parenthesis? Was the second half dominance due to “being weaponised”? Unlikely. It’s a pity about Rassie’s post, because I think the outcome would have been the same without it. Attritional rugby, and the best team won (just as the best team won in the first test). Always amused about the disparaging comments about the Boks/SA (and their lack of command of English), which I understand – SA was never a ‘proper’ (parenthesis, why not) English-speaking colony (god save the queen, forget it), what with all the Dutch, German, Portuguese and (yes) Malay and African influences. You should come and visit.

The Wrap: Springboks victory surge vindicates Erasmus, but at what cost?

Hi Eddie, from another (SA) Eddie. Come and visit one day, not that bad. You’ll find that honourable and dishounarable are fairly evenly scattered, it’s in the genes of all of us.

The drugs seem to work, so why not?

Yes, learn from the “bottom feeder” but can Gatand?

The rubbish in SA reference, more than the moniker.

The Springboks handle the British and Irish Lions 27-9 to level the series

The backline coach is Mzwandile Wanky (yep, that is his middle name 😊) Stick. No doubt, Erasmus’ video caused an uproar, but to depict O’Keeffe as a terrified ref surrounded by thugs (i.e., violent/criminal people intent on causing harm), come on, pure hyperbole, and more damaging to rugby than any post-match video analysis. The best team won the second test, the best team won the first, that’s it.

The pleasure is all yours, closed curtains and all …

Oz in SA, I take it you are an Oz in SA? “Rubbish in SA” – you are talking about the game SA just won, right? Looking at the current form of the Wallabies, I think you’re right, your game is dying.

The Springboks handle the British and Irish Lions 27-9 to level the series

Who were the thugs you’re referring to?

The Springboks handle the British and Irish Lions 27-9 to level the series

If you have zero respect, fine – your belief; if you cheer every other team playing against the Boks – fine, your preference; if you believe the way the Boks play is soul-destroying and their “off-field stuff” is disgusting – fine, but grab something to drink to sooth the misery.
