Would have been a good time to play the form T20 bowlers from The Heat to see how they worked at this level.

Can’t put all the blame on Quade – his long range goal put us in with a chance but unfortunately the penalty infringements in second half killed us and we paid for missed opportunities in first half (held up over line twice and penalty hitting post).

I watched TM passing performance closely and only noticed two blemishes where passes went along ground and one caught a boot and the other was interfered with by AB player. Otherwise all passes found the intended player and he did his best to keep the team moving forward. White came on and first scrum with injured tight head he stuffed around getting the ball in and out until we finally lost possession – too much stuffing around.
CG was good for run on debut against AB but I must admit when QC made similar mistakes when he first started he was bagged ferociously.

I am still waiting to see Carter play a good game – thought from the start of his SR career that he was probably a good Shute Shield level player only – it is criminal that he was selected for the World Cup ahead of Lolesio or Quade.
He was the main problem for the Rebels tonight as his mistakes killed off any momentum. He must frustrate his team mates.
