Millman deserves a wildcard
his form has gone right off in the last couple of years but it’s his final comp
Guys like Polmans seem to always get wildcards and can’t seem to then get them themselves into the top 100 for direct entry
Aussie No.1, Millman made to wait as rain washes out Aus Open qualifying... with indoor courts reserved for practice
He might be to old for the next WC, better off developing Carter so he has 40+ tests by the time 2027 rolls around

Hopefully we can at least win one against NZ in Sydney
Not sure re. AAA coming back from injury & behind Tupou but otherwise not a bad option
In the TRC sure we will beat Arg & hopefully 1 against NZ & SA but still see us coming 3rd

Low standards if you think a pass mark is a success, for me success is like Steve Hansens 85%+ win rate win NZ, France’s 75%+ win rate this WC cycle, Ireland’s WC cycle, but I guess to you it’s just scraping a pass

Why do we have to turn back to 35 y.o rejects like Quade who play Tier 2 Japanese rugby, because we haven’t taken the time to develop any good young 10’s, so move on Quade and Foley who have never delivered consistent success for the Wallabies and give consistent time to someone like Carter Gordon so by the time 2027 rolls around they have like 40+ tests, going back to Quade compounds these issues.
Also Carter’s 2023 form was better than Quade against SA and Argentina

Agree, I think we could still have taken Gleeson and actually played him!

You guys realise Mounga’a, Barrett, Mackenzie, Farrell, Ford, Smith, Sexton, Ntmack, Sopoanga, Biggar, Russell, Kinghorn, Pollard, Libbok, Jalibert, Willemse, Patchell are all better than Quade

Quade Cooper should have no future with the Wallabies, there are at least 10 International ten’s better than him
The real players we missed were Scott Sio, Ryan Lonergan, Pete Samu, Jed Holloway, Len Ikitau, Hunter Paisami, Brandon Paenga Amosa, Allan A, Rory Arnold, Izack Rodda

I’d add Brandon Paenga Amosa to the list

Lolesio is probably the 2nd best ten behind Gordon
Agree on Lonergan re. size but he’s still good enough to make the bench IMO
We need a bigger body at 7, don’t know why Gleeson only got 10 mins in the WC but Hooper and McReight are too small for an international 7 evident by how few turnovers they win now
The only way is up, baby - What the next Wallabies coaching setup should look like
Ah he’ll be 36 by the time the Wallabies play next year, certainly won’t make it to the next WC or the 25 lions series.
We need to develop younger 10’s like Gordon so by the time 2027 comes around they have 40+ tests
Going back to Quade etc. who was poor against SA & Arg and couldn’t close out that 2nd Bledisloe and has never been an outstanding player means we can’t develop younger 10’s
He’s also playing at such a lower standard (2nd tier Japanese club rugby)
Having Quade in the starting team going forward is a bad idea
The only way is up, baby - What the next Wallabies coaching setup should look like

2. Paenga Amosa
3. Tupou
4. Frost
5. Skelton
6. Hooper
7. Gleeson
8. Valentini
9. Lonergan
10. Gordon
11. Wright

20. McReight
21. McDermott
22. Lolesio
23. Petaia
The only way is up, baby - What the next Wallabies coaching setup should look like
Carter Gordon certainly shouldn’t be a #12 option – we should look to Paisami, Foketi, Stewart etc. before him
Wouldn’t say McDermott is a clear frontrunner – the race is pretty even amongst a few – not sure how he can be a clear front-runner when supposedly his pass will never be good
Five things we learned: Schmidt's selection headache, Carter's a No.12 wildcard, and $1m Thor must step up
