He has some points though. Rugby is dead in Australia. I can’t see a way forward right now
'I am a better coach': Eddie's head-turning take, says several teams keen on him despite Wallabies flop
PE was in play well before Eddie Jones, I appreciate your point but I think the main concern would have been what kind of governance allows that decision to be made? Take a bow Hamster
'Talent to beat the All Blacks': Ex-Wallabies coach's bold call following 'hash of a year'
I think Rugby is dead in the water and I don’t think the largest proportion of the blame sits with EJ, rather the Hamster.
He made the decision to axe DR and to be fair to EJ, he was probably offered an aligned model and an open cheque book thanks to the private equity deal to carry through the Lions series and into the next World Cup. These two things spectacularly (but strangely silently) failed so EJ was potentially making decisions based on HMc’s promises.
Rugby is dead in the water unless RA cull from the very top down. Regardless of Cadbury
'Talent to beat the All Blacks': Ex-Wallabies coach's bold call following 'hash of a year'
No. Competent and RA in the same sentence
ANALYSIS: Every Super Rugby team rated - and why Australia will make up ground on New Zealand
In terms of Tupou, in a perfect world his workload should be managed by a competent RA high performance unit as a player of interest not just now but through 2027. Guess which two words incongruous?
ANALYSIS: Every Super Rugby team rated - and why Australia will make up ground on New Zealand
Yep noodles. Cohesion. We have none and there’s no plan. It’s time to throw out the bath water, there is no baby to risk throwing out
Eight crucial lessons Wallabies must learn from the RWC quarter-finalists
Damn straight. And they deserved every cent. Although the wallabies didn’t progress through to the quarters they clearly had a winning mindset
Eddie's Wallabies future on tenterhooks amid coaching changes, key ally departs as Waugh returns home
A few thoughts. First. What happened to Phil Waugh’s WC finals tickets? Did he scalp them and will we see that as income in the next financial report? Second. I’m really pleased that the Lions have still agreed to tour a second tier rugby nation. I love the atmosphere that the supporters bring and they’ll be celebrating record breaking games week on week. It will be electric. Third. Excellent financial decision to be spurned by private equity and rely on increased television rights deals knowing that broadcasters are completely ignorant of the fact that rugby in Australia is losing market share hand over fist. Fourth, and final for now. I think the only way out of this, in fact the only hope for Australian rugby at all, is another few clean outs. There have not been enough fingers pointed and shouts of YOU! MOVE THAT DECK CHAIR OVER THERE! YOU! PLAY THAT DAMN CELLO!

No crybabies, no league tragics, no Eddie Jones - the next Wallaby coach checklist
‘What we need is a narrative!’
Pure unadulterated gold
No crybabies, no league tragics, no Eddie Jones - the next Wallaby coach checklist
And they play finals
Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies
I think the NPC is the logical answer, and a combined ANZAC approach to the rising (risen?) NH teams. And SA (risen). NZ may even be open to the idea if they lose to Ireland. If they win, no chance, and rugby in Australia becomes a sport like lacrosse
'Is there any light on the horizon?' - what the Super Rugby franchises are up to in the off season
Think that may be more good luck than good management
REPORT: Eddie Jones to quit Wallabies and join Japan as head coach
I’m not sure I totally agree TWAS. I think that the wallabies are now a 2nd tier team because of decades of mismanagement. Now I’m not an Eddie apologist and I believe he made some grave tactical errors. For me though, it’s the governance that allowed Eddie to be hired. Similar to appointing an NAB executive of broker distribution as the CEO of a multi million dollar business
'F--king works so hard, bro': Wallaby star's message to angry fans after World Cup calamity
Hey Jez, enjoy France mate. To your point though, it’s the reason I’m voting Yes in the referendum for a Voice to RA representing State and Territory unions along with grassroots rugby being enshrined in the RA constitution
Wallabies lose another two young guns to World Cup injuries - but Eddie won't call up anyone yet
But then you’d have to do it before it all goes wrong Harry

Did they go the unlimited toblerone package? Better value I guess
Exclusive: Eddie set for midfield switch as Wallabies sweat on miracle World Cup finish and CEO pops in
I’m sure there’ll be more hardship for poor Phil. I’m sure his travel arrangements would have included attending the World Cup final just in case… he’ll just have to grin and bear it for the sake of not wasting RA’s money.
And I’ve heard he hates baguettes… and leisurely afternoons in the Parisian autumn

If prepared when an employee of RA the report would remain the IP of RA. I have however on all of our behalves, just now, faxed (RA’s preferred method of communication) a request to North Sydney requesting a copy be posted. I understand the fax queue is cleared the second Tuesday of every month so we shouldn’t have long to wait.

Eddie Jones should be celebrated not booed: Why the worst thing RA could do is sack the Wallabies coach
You’re right, as a tier 2 nation we shouldn’t count the tier 1 games. He could get to 50% with a win over Portugal by my reckoning
Eddie Jones should be celebrated not booed: Why the worst thing RA could do is sack the Wallabies coach
But he can get this to over 22.2% with a win against Portugal I believe
Eddie Jones should be celebrated not booed: Why the worst thing RA could do is sack the Wallabies coach
Harry, I think it must be said. This is one of the better Australia A teams to run out against Wales. It’s even more impressive that we’re doing it in a do a do or die World Cup fixture. Vale Eddie Jones (vale means ‘well played’ right?)
Wallabies CONFIRMED: Gordon benched as Eddie banks on Ben Donaldson, star returns for do-or-die RWC clash
But where’s the accountability of the ‘leaders’ at present?
Key hire that must happen BEFORE Wallabies can recruit new coach, why Brumbies are stalling on RA plan
