Definitely, If he held onto the ball he would have got the try,

He didn’t hold on which was his mistake therefore no-try.

Yes I agree with all those.

but Jadeja just feels a bit better than all the rest.

that might be due to his record against us though.

Jadeja would surely be close up there?

Semi-final Talking Points: Anxiety high for prelims, Warriors surging, Storm need Hughes for Panthers mission

Living in Queensland, all anyone’s talking about is the football.

They did finish higher than i expected… but they never really looked convincing against the good teams.

bit of a case of win most games but choke the hard ones

Finals Fix: They just pumped Port - and here's why the Giants might be Collingwood's worst nightmare too

very good chance

The Blues could shock the lions…

but I just don’t see it happening,
I think the Lions will win this Premiership

Finals Fix: How Melbourne killed their season with the butcher job to end all butcher jobs

The NRL needs to do something about the lack of power for a captain’s challenge.

while I agree with the idea of team’s shouldn’t be allowed to use their challenge to rest.
surely the NRL could give each team a tactical time out at their disposal.

or allow the players to challenge whenever, but if it is deemed to have not been a proper challenge but more to get a break. send the Captain and the closest player to the play into the bin

Klein should be declined chance to referee Grand Final again after blatant clangers in Storm-Roosters cliffhanger

Carlton are Playing very similar to the Lions last year…

won their Eliminator and Semi final, but both were very close games.
then in the prelim Brisbane came in with momentum but were flat, tired and got steamrolled.

could the same happen to Carlton?

Finals Fix: How Melbourne killed their season with the butcher job to end all butcher jobs

I don’t think you can question the Lion’s premiership credentials.

All respect to Collingwood (not really)

But I think that the hardest game for the lions left this year will be Carlton or Melbourne in the Prelim…
the other 3 teams just don’t match up well against the Lions.

A calmer approach for the Lions is paying dividends this September

I’ve been following the various argument of Macca, and Peter. and i’ve got to say Macca always seems to come out on top.

pretty easy though considering Pete supports Collingwood

Why every team will win their AFL semi final... and why they'll lose

My Friend was talking to Daniel Rich last year and he revealed that the Lions believe the next couple years are their best shot at a Premiership. and the lions have been playing like it too.

Is 2023 the year Brisbane takes their AFL premiership chance, or is it mission impossible?

The Lions definitely have what it takes to win the finals this year. If they beat Collingwood then they have a very easy finals run and will only play one away game in the finals (assuming they win).

The pies however are injury struck and likely to play against Melbourne in the first round which won’t work well for them.
The only major injuries that Brisbane have is Ashcroft and Gunston and is he even that big a loss with his current form? Darcy fort or another small can likely do a lot better

AFL News: Damning Lions call ahead of Friday night blockbuster, big Cat back for crunch clash

The team with the best advantage now is Brisbane, as they are likely to finish top 2 and get a home game which they hardly ever loose (I can’t see them losing to Port at home anyway). Whereas the pies if they play Melbourne pretty much have their home ground advantage eliminated.

Brisbane’s Finals run if they win this week looks easy all the way to the final (2 home games).
even once they reach the final they will have the confidence to win it all.

There's an easy solution to 'Ball-change-gate' - and fixing it could also solve Test cricket's biggest problem

You have to say Reynolds is a magician. On and off field. He could see that the Broncos were a team on the rise and will be able to lead them to a Premiership before retiring.

Flem's Verdict: Aussies will be galvanised to shut up England’s PR machine after washout kerfuffle

That’s true, the ball may have gotten a lot worse over the rest of the innings but it shouldn’t be that easily knocked out of shape the ball should be made to last longer without being misshaped.

Also, it concerns me that the umpires had such little amounts of balls that there were none closer of age than the one they had to use.
Because they went from a ball 30 overs old to one 10 overs old they musn’t have had any that were between 30 and 50 overs old either (that’s no balls in the age between 10 overs and 50 overs). This can’t become a normal for the ICC.

There's an easy solution to 'Ball-change-gate' - and fixing it could also solve Test cricket's biggest problem

it was usable it just wasn’t a perfect sphere.
England were just struggling (as usual) and wanted an easy way out.

Bazball is so ‘amazing’

Wake up
