Aussies need to swallow what is left of their pride and start winning some games and you are only going to do that with stronger teams. You can also stop whinging about NZ trying to reduce your competition membership, RA have ben doing a good job of that all by themselves.

I’m pretty sure that no rugby writer actually knows the definition of the word ‘mecurial’. Ever since it was used to desribe players like Quade Cooper and Carlos Spencer, who definitely were mercurial, the word has been misused. BBBB, Dan Carter, Johnny Wilkinson etc, are the antithesis of mercurial.

I’m still hurting….give me a few months to mellow out! I just looked up Ceri Evans – Arsenal club picked him up. But where Hansen let me down, was the way we lost that 1 knock out game – the tournament that the AB’s (and Super Rugby) had been preparing for for years. We were outsmarted and disorganised. I even think we would have faired better had Canterbury been on the field.

Nice comment Pinetree, though I disagree with your position on Hansen coming through with the goods. Ultimately, he didn’t. The AB’s minds weren’t in that game from the get-go and we were like a possum in the headlights. We used to have a great psych coach – Ceri Evans – who Carter spoke of being a major contributor to their mental conditioning especially when the chips were down. Get him back before you employ anyone. If your head isn’t in the game, then does it matter what coach you have?

David, you really have no idea what this is about. Take my wife as an example, she loves watching the Wallabies play, it’s her team. She has vowed to never watch them again if RA bend to accommodate Folau’s bigotry. Think of a vulnerable, confused teenager who could be swayed by that cruel and thoughtless hate speech from an influential identity.
BTW, I love the cherry picking from these paragons of morality such as Folau. If he was a true christian, then he would follow the teachings found in Mathew, which state that all followers of Jesus must give away ALL their money to the poor. Strange how none of the christians do this, but engage in hate speech, no worries mate.
