“They have accused the Rebels of all sorts of heinous conspiratorial actions aided and abetted by the ARU. Each time, whether it’s a comment on Facebook or an unbelievably inaccurate article such as this, to which I am responding, I’ve let it go. No more.”
Wow! A Senate inquiry, damning emails, confidential documents miraculously passed on to Rebels, and yet they were all innocent? Let’s not let facts get in the way of fallacy Lyndsey.
ARU’s arrogant ‘spreadsheet’ had so many holes in it a truck could drive through it. They decided to axe the Force early on and simply wrote the script to suit. There were dirty deals done, no 2 ways about it.

COMMENT: This is the real reason why the Force were cut in 2017

“….he was calved up……” Seriously? Is that a reference to the cattle on the field?

Doubts of a Wallaby: The maligned cross-code star who fought through tears to make Eddie's RWC campaign

Just FYI, Rapid Rugby was halted in its tracks because of Covid, not because of Twiggy pulling support. Up to that point Rapid Rugby was going quite well with plenty of support from the Asian market and gaining momentum, thanks to a lot of financial support from Twiggy. The ultimate plan was for the comp to eventually maintain itself & Twiggy could then step back from as much control.

Revealed: RA's game-changing private equity takes shape - and why it's essential to centralisation push

If only McKenzie had stuck around…..
Short memories indeed! Let’s not forget one certain individual who was the primary cause to Mackenzie’s resignation. How convenient to forget Beale’s behaviour who instigated the start of the whole clusterf###k which culminated in where Aus rugby is today. And yet certain individual is brought back into the Wallabies, despite ALL of the ‘indiscretions’ & sense of entitlement portrayed But then it’s been endemic behaviour to RA for long enough. It’s no wonder so many have turned away from the Wallabies, it only shows how desperate they’ve become.

Why Quade Cooper should be wrapped in cotton wool for the World Cup

On a replay its very obvious in the 1st minute, but the clincher was at 27th minute when at least 3 Force tacklers literally ‘slid’ off Bank’s legs. Which is when Kehui brought it to the ref attention. Pretty poor form.

The Wrap: It’s time for rugby’s loose ends to start to come together

I attended the Senate Inquiry session when John Wellborn gave his statement regarding Andrew Forrest’s offer to ARU, and he also mentioned how incredulous they were at ARU’s refusal. It certainly got a few incredulous gasps from the attending public gallery. I believe the RA Board weren’t even informed by Clyne until after he’d turned down the offer.

The Wrap: Private equity can fix rugby, but only if rugby gets it right

Despite the various familiar trolls and negative comments around, its great to see so many other positive & genuine support from various.

Western Force bring the fifth element to Rennie

The whole saga in a nutshell. Makes the standard narrative of ‘just get over it’ rather redundant.

Western Force bring the fifth element to Rennie

So……it’s a ‘national’ club comp. Just trying to get my head round this ironic title seeing as an entire state has been excluded. How does that promote Castle’s ‘inclusiveness’ mantra? Rather hypocritical is you ask me.

RA confirms national club competition in the works; NRC future unclear

Who’s Max Deegan??? Joe Powell was great as usual………? I must’ve been watching a different game.

Report card on the Aussie Super Rugby conference

Should be a tough game with the samoan team retaining a strong side from the last encounter. I suggest Qld locals should get along to watch some good rugby. It will also be shown live on SBS Viceland and Fox 503. I believe a strong contingent of Samoan supporters will be turning up!
