Ed Flanders, I am a lot older than you. Greg Chappell was and remains my first great cricket hero. I was lucky enough to see him play live both during and post WSC. I am also too young too comment on Bradman. However, having watched Smith, Greg Chappell is one of the 3 greatest batsmen/cricketers to ever have worn an Australian cap.

He has always given of himself. He is presently suffering harder times than nearly everyone of his paramount importance to Australia’s cricketing lore. Be kind, give him a break.

I also played in one of his caps and his signed picture has adorned my family room wall for over 30 years.

So Tagger you are a meteorologist, with evidently a 125000 years of data to go off. Must include the literally millions of readings destroyed, discounted by our Bureau of Meteorology under our own personal globalist messiah Turnbull.

Anyway, beyond the 55000 plus bushfires a year we have endured since time immemorial (which is longer than a 125000 years), the still many seismic and volcanic disturbances which still plague our planet, I actually lived in the Pilbara in the mid 70’s. Coincidently watched the Centenary Test on the ABC, only channel then available up top.

Point is there were many many hot days, hotter than you or anyone realise. Just as in space nobody can hear you scream, in the outback back then there was literarily NO one to take the readings. And as a supposed meteorologist, you would also be aware real weather events such as cyclones are literally on the decline. I also experienced first hand a few of these, without a undedicated leftist moron in sight.

Just Stop Oil or just stop cricket: What price will the game pay for refusing to heed warnings?
