Why go thru such a gruelling qualifying campaign for only two guaranteed matches..
Yeah I do realise it will be easier to qualify with extra spots…but then why bother having qualifying regions and campaigns at all.

32 is plenty and anymore than that takes away the lustre & glory of this tournament.
Hopefully common sense prevails and its abandoned or when it’s proven to be farcical we revert back to 32 for the following WC.

You make a lot of good points Waz. Essentially our league is a basket case and that will always cause a large proportion of the public away.
I tried supporting the league again a few years back but the ridiculousness of VAR was the final straw for me.
Would love to see a thriving domestic competition but until real honest football people are involved with its management I will go surfing or fishing instead.

The league and clubs are plastic and very poorly managed along with poor engagement with fans.
Poor treatment by security at many stadiums leave a bad taste in ones mouth.
Many many football lovers have been alienated in this country and thus have moved on.
Until serious concerns are addressed, I myself shan’t be returning. We have a long way to go.
The other issue is the current state of the world and what the madman Klaus Schawb from the WEF is trying to achieve. More pressing issues exist right now than sport, any sport for that matter.

Super effort by the boys, especially when you consider Tunisia were up 1-0 vs France B. Who would not have been worthy of advancing at our expense had we drawn
And then there’s the Algerian Ref. How against us he that Ref…especially with how quickly he called that offside pen. My gut tells me he’s right dodgey trying to do Tunisia a favor

Haha…I did the same with the commentary towards the end; muted it at times. Can’t stand it when home grown commentators do that…it’s like they’re deliberately trying to sabotage the match!

Yes, I would like to see us with a keeper of the Bosnich caliber in goal and for us to be more direct and clinical.
