When you look at Reece Walsh, Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Kayln Ponga one player tries to be involved for 100% of the game, another for 50% – 60% of the game and the third for less than 10% of the game. You figure out which is which.

When was the last time you saw Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Snoop Dog et al wearing Rugby Union merchandise or knowing any of the the “Super” Rugby teams?
For the record all of the aforementioned have worn Rabbitohs merchandise and others like Natalie Portman, Jeff Goldbloom and Chris Hemsworth have watched Rabbitohs games from Russell Crowe’s corporate box. All of this has been seen by the world. The South Sydney Rabbitohs are the most known Australian sporting brand worldwide thanks to Russell Crowe.
It must kill you to know that ONE Rugby League club has more fame and brand recognition worldwide than ALL your Super Rugby clubs combined! 😂
Also for the record the NRL has a team in Victoria (Melbourne Storm) and will soon be adding a team from Perth. The NRL is growing while Australian Rugby is imploding. 😂

Look at this article. It is on the League forum and yet how many Rugby Union fans thought it was worth their time to pour their comments into this forum about a player they thought wasn’t good enough to play their game?
No mate. You don’t get to claim the moral high ground on this when your fellow Rugby supporters continue to pester and niggle League fans on their forum when most League fans couldn’t be bothered to post on Rugby forums.

If NRL players are substandard to Rugby Union requirements why is Rugby Australia going on an NRL recruitment drive signing Joseph Suualii and now going after Payne Haas?
Eddie Jones also confirmed he was interested in signing Cameron Murray and Angus Crichton. Jones also admitted there are no Rugby pathways for developing young players. He said that Australian Rugby has no alternative than to look to the NRL and their junior development to refill their dwindling stocks. Jones made it clear that traditional Rugby junior development pathways have failed.
The Wallabies have only won the Rugby World Cup twice. They were both in the 90’s almost a quarter of a century ago!
Face facts. Rugby Union is becoming increasingly irrelevant in Australia and one day like Two-up will only get played on ANZAC Day for old times’ sake. 😂

That’s because Rugby takes NRL players at the top of their game and ruins them. Stop trying to bang square pegs into round holes. How about both codes adopt a “hands off the rival code” policy?
As Eddie Jones admitted, there is no viable pathway for developing players for Rugby Union. Stop making that the NRL’s problem. Learn from the NRL, don’t take from the NRL.

If Wighton signs to play with his rep mates Latrell, Cody and AJ he will not be coming to the club to do a Kayln Ponga and get paid to sit on the sidelines.
Rest assured, if Wighton signs he will play left centre and compliment AJ on his run to breaking the NRL try scoring record.
Wighton will also provide depth coverage for Souths halves.

Although I sympathise with Eels fans I’m grateful that title no longer applies to the Rabbitohs. If not for 2014 and a missed opportunity in 2021 Souths would have been referenced as prehistoric!
