Best people to ask. Those who didn’t get one. Ask Derrick Kickett. Would he like one? What about runners up? All other sports have one. But because some soon threw his into the crowd, no one gets one now. What about a cup for runners up or a pennant for final 4. Would GWS or Fremantle like one. Only sport in the world that has only one prize or recognition.

COMMENT: Awarding premiership medals to the entire winning list would ruin them for everyone

Forwards similar. Both can have bad quarters. Favour Sydney in midfield. Geelong in defence. Umpires will have a bearing. (It is Geelong) But I feel they will fall over the line, by a few late goals.

2022 AFL grand final preview: Who will take it all home?

Had Richmond down to win this by 4gs. Thought Brisbane played better, but made more mistakes. Gave Richmond 6 goals. Both sides got an umpires goal and missed one each too. Why does it always come back to the final error. Loved the game and the result.

AFL News: League ticks off score review as Hardwick slams 'not good enough' system, Roos CEO resigns

Very hard to do. Only really means anything for 3 states. Allstars mean nothing. If ever it should return. 1 game should be played in Tasmania.

It's time to bring back State of Origin footy. Here's how the pre-finals bye could help make it happen

Bye needs to be x2. 1st week. 4 interstates and 6 vics. 2nd week. The others. WA and SA can cover with local games to cover any gaps. When 1st lot return. Could start on Wed. On Sat have a game at the G. 2.30 start. 2 vic teams called Big Day At the G. All other games played interstate.

How to fix the AFL's bye-round blues

At the start of the season I put Port GWS and Essendon out of the 8 and felt that one of tonight’s game would also miss out. So I predict that the loser will. Think Freo will do it (right Don?) Rest are meaningless. But WC do have a side that can. Attitude will be on show.

2022 AFL season: Round 12 preview

When will WC win their first game. Maybe round 15?

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 21

Here’s something different. 17 rounds. Then divide into 2 groups. A. 1-10. B. 11-18. Have 4 challange rounds. Group A must win to gain or retain position. Group B must win to stay in it. Week one. Group A bye. Group B play 4 eliminations. Week 2. Group A play mirror draw qualifying. Two lowest loses drop to top of Group B. Groub B play 2 eliminations. Week 3. Group A, same. Group B. 2 eliminations. Week 4. Top six, group A play for top 4 positions, group B play for last 2 spots in 8. Finals as normal, no pre bye.

What would the AFL ladder look like if each team played each other only once?

I would say, Dean Cox 1. Laurie Keene 2.. Then Nic Nat. Unfortunately for Keene injury robbed him of his full career. But another time. I’m with you. If they don’t win, then look at next year. I’m tipping Freo to knock over Geelong

2021 AFL season: Round 18 preview

Question for you Angela. Has freo been featured on 7 this year at all? If they have, I missed it.

Six talking points from AFL Round 15

When ever there’s been a crime committed. The police put up a barrier and tell the crowd “Nothing o see here, move along”. The crime committed here, was WC committed fraud. They tried to convince us that they had a team that was committed to the cause. I’ve said from the start of the season. On paper they are top 3. But game plan puts them struggling to make the 8. No presentation. Won’t run or can’t. Won’t man up. Their a two ruck team and only play one. No plan B. As I said earlier, “Nothing to see here. Move along”

Six talking points from AFL Round 15

They sure did. Though Saints should’ve won by 10gs+. Made many unforced errors. Which showed how bad Richmond played. But might still get all their finals at the G. A big game on Sunday. We get to see how good Western really are and whether WC are on the road back.

Saints rucks spark AFL upset of Tigers

A great tip. Keep it up ????

Premiership heavies set for Brisbane Catfight this Thursday night

Thought Western outplayed Geelong, but lost by making too many unforced errors. Their short game is getting shorter and the ball isn’t getting out of the contest. For that reason I’m going with Brisbane and WC. CROWS and Frem to cause upsets. Rest the fans.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 15

Earlier, Melbourne were winning, though making many mistakes. This time they just played well. All contributed. Brisbane showed talent, but went wayward in 2nd half. Allowed to much space for Melbourne to run into. (Still a chance) WC showed grit. More than they have been. But should have done more in junk time at the end. Richmond showed us what they can do. But Essendon stopped. Too many none contributors. Biggest offender was Tippa.

Five talking points from AFL Round 12

I think it’s something to do with fishing ???? They don’t do much of it in football.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 12

I hate the bye rounds, cause 7 dumps the Sunday game.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 12

Tipped a Brisbane, Richmond GF. Have replaced Rich with Melbourne. So a good guide. Brisbane by enough. It took Essendon a while to get on top. Richmond won’t give them the chance. While Carlton won’t make the 8. If WC lose, they won’t either. One last desperate chance. The rest, all the favourites.

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions: Round 12

I think this week we do find out. If they can’t beat Carlton, then they should start looking at next year. But we also find out about Essendon. Two other sides that were made to look good, went on to be thumped the following week. WC may be the bogie side of the comp?

Another failed season for West Coast, the perennial underachievers

I say this. Because I’ve notice that what WC deliver in the last Q. One week is what they deliver for the game the next.
Has been so this year, except once.

Tim Kelly's injury hurts Eagles' top-four hopes

I’m with you Footguy. The bottom 6 are always copping the blame. In and out never a chance to establish. No plan B gives no other options. They probably need to rest all the injured players they want next year. Play all the others and see what they’ve really got. If they persist with system they will only limp into the finals. If they should get there. But looks like a Carlton win next week.

Tim Kelly's injury hurts Eagles' top-four hopes

No hope this year. Maybe not for awhile

Tim Kelly's injury hurts Eagles' top-four hopes

We have 5 teams fighting for place GF. And 5 playing for place in 8. Don’t see any of the lower 5 improving to displace any above. A point on WC, top 3 on paper. But they don’t present. Don’t man up. Don’t back up and don’t run. And when they do, they fumble and lose the ball.

Five talking points from AFL Round 10

Not sold on Western yet. Handballs and run eventually come undone. All become too short and put too many players in the contest, with no way out. At least 4 of the bottom 6 are there. Will North pick their first bone next week? Next 2 rounds will certainly start the sorting out.
