Thanks for the commentary Suneer, Much appreciated. Great game by Australia, great performances by Marsh, Maxwell + Johnson. Surely Bailey goes now, Seriously is this guy in only for his captaincy skills. 17 runs from 3 innings at 5.66, says he’s not in for his batting.

Australia v South Africa fourth ODI: The Liebke Ratings

Haha, I had a feeling that it might rake in a decent TV audience. I don’t know about other roarers but I prefer to watch cricket especially test and odis on the comfort of my own couch.

Australia v South Africa fourth ODI: The Liebke Ratings

wow what great bowling from Aus, loved the look of cummins and boyce in particular, should be an easy total to chase.

Roar Radio is back: listen in to the Australia vs Pakistan Test series live

I’ve seen Bancroft play in the middle as well as open, what is his preferred batting position?

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

ill be honest Don I’ve never seen Terry Alderman bowl before but i’ll take your word for it, i think its pretty unanimous that Paris is an amazing bowling prospect. Agree will your point on Behrendorff, only thing in my opinion that’s going against him is speed, with Johnson destroying attacks as a left arm fast bowler i think that the selectors are leaning towards quicker bowlers, like Starc for instance.

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

I agree Tom, based on what ive seen when both Behrendorff and Paris bowl i would probably pick Paris. NCN was awesome vs Victoria on the weekend and deserves to sit on top of the wicket taking table for the cup, with Paris biting on his heels. We all know how good Dorf was in the shield last season only time will tell if Paris can translate the success he is having now in the one day cup to shield cricket. In my Opinion he will, and with dorf and NCN, WA will have a very potent fast bowling unit. Do you know how fast Paris bowls, as far a left arm quicks go in terms of speed this is what i think. Johnson>Starc>Paris>Behrendorff>Rainbird.

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

Tom who do you think has better value behrendorff or paris?

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

WA GOT THIS…i hope. i imagine dorf will be back and beer dropped. Simmons has been awful so far as opener in the matador cup i hope vs Queensland he brings his A game.

Khawaja back in frame for ODIs and Tests

I look forward to see how marsh performs if he is selected, i also hope doolan cements his spot in the team, btw did anyone see clarkes comments on Mitch marsh being possible test captain one day…interesting.

Marsh fit but Faulkner retained as cover for first Test

In Shane Watsons last 49 first class innings he’s made 1796 runs at 36.65 and made 3 centuries, 2 against a very poor England side and 1 against mid table Div 2 Worcestershire, whats your point.

Mitch Marsh can end Watson's Test career

If maxwell does play in the UAE i would feel a little more confident with him then marsh, knowing going into the match maxwell has made 569 runs at 56.9 in his last 10 innings of first class cricket including 2 of his 4 FC centuries.

Mitch Marsh can end Watson's Test career

However in his last shield season Marsh made 613 runs at ave 40.86 and took 15 wickets at an average of 27.66, so I would say he’s defiantly improving his game.

Marsh, O'Keefe push for Test spots

Don’t know if anyone heard this but I swear I thought I heard an Australian saying to one of the Zimbabwe tail-enders if you don’t try hit every ball for 6 were bringing Johnson in. ha-ha classic

'Can't be mates': De Villiers says Australian sledging is personal

I hope Marshs Performance Yesterday was not a one off against Zimbabwe and he continues his form into the South Africa game. Do you keep Marsh at No3 for that game? Shame we didn’t get to see Maxwell bowl, if Smith grabs 3 wickets you know your in for a chance.
