Wasn’t “JLo” Coach of the Year according to Freo Supporters in 2022? Now they blame him for everything? Could it just be that they gutted themselves at the end of last Season and they just haven’t recovered?

The Roar's AFL expert tips and predictions Round 18: Dare we dream of two normal tipping weeks in row?

I don’t follow? “when richmond first contacted Stuey Dew”?? Why would Richmond have contacted Stuey Dew?

AFL News: Dees drop Grundy bombshell, fresh Hinkley theory in Suns' Dew sacking

The Tiges would beaten the Cats had they faced them in the Finals last year….according to the form. The Cats haven’t managed to beat the Tigers in a Final since Joel Sellwood was in Primary School and in the 6 years the Tigers have smashed the Cats in a Quali, Prelim & a GF!
Yep, the Cats are well and truly still Richmond’s Finals Bunnies!

Cotchin, De Goey escape with fines for controversial pre-season incidents, Preuss tackle thrown out

Why would the Tigers fear their Finals Easybeats, the Cats??

A good friend of mine is Mancunian to the core. He laments the direction this Club been taken Gary. He’s been hoping for a terrible year on the pitch to try and accelerate the changes needed.

How will Manchester United deal with its Cristiano Ronaldo problem?

Maybe they should just get rid of him. ManU is badly in need of a total culture and business model change. Look at how successful the Arsenal and Liverpool models have been.

How will Manchester United deal with its Cristiano Ronaldo problem?

Very exciting Steve! Argentina down to 10 men too. Pity there isn’t any live feed for this game. Maybe Roar will do one for the other Olyroo and Matilda games

'Almost insane': Can the Olyroos shock the world or has Graham Arnold finally lost it?

So happy to see Sam Kerr score her first goal in 5 games. Hopefully that now opens the floodgates and the goals flow from her during this tournament.

'Robbing Peter to pay Paul': A much needed victory for Gustavsson's Matildas

Is there recourse that can be brought against Jelonch and France for “milking” that red card now that Koroibete has been vindicated?
Also, why can’t video be used in these situations?

Wallabies vs France player ratings: Your verdict and how Will Genia saw it

I would live to see Smith take the Captaincy again. It seemed to enhance him as a Player and Batsman first time around and a second go at it would allow him to repair his legacy.

Smith 'interested' in return to captaincy

I hate the 7 Commentary Team. BT and Brayshaw drive me crazy. Quite often I’ll turn down the TV and turn up the radio.

COVID throws AFL clash into chaos

Moore is a fantastic Player. He is one of my favourites to watch.

How good are crowds, and how good is Darcy Moore

A little strong on the “Peanut” jibe JB but it was pretty much on the money. Something they all seem to ignoring also is that he did plead Guilty. So he knew he was guilty.
There is not much more left to add to this discussion. In the end it was the right result.

Patrick Dangerfield hit with hefty suspension for high bump

I think if Carlton win they will still make it

Two unexpected winners and two unexpected losers to face off in AFL Round 2

He is definitely not a hero to all Victorians, Don!

Dangerfield defends bump ahead of tribunal

Statistically very few teams make the 8 from 0-2. I think there has only been one per season in the last 5 years. I think the one this year will be either Cats or Lions.

Someone's season ends on Thursday night

I think the title was meant to read Two unexpected winners and two unexpected LOSERS to face off in AFL Round 2
You’re right though…..2 critical games for the participants. The Loser of Carlton v Collingwood will miss the 8.
The Loser of Geelong v Brisbane will miss the Top 4.

I for one have not noticed Dangerfield receiving any greater attention on the field than any other player and I am unsure what relevance this has to this incident.
Also, although Lynch can carry on like a Pollock, none of his incidents deserved a suspension, he didn’t knock a man unconscious & break his nose and Lynch also bears no relevance to this incident either.

'Enough's enough': David King calls for massive Dangerfield ban to send a message to players

I sense there is momentum building for a big penalty on this incident.

Very true HR. Did you see the Shane Tuck Story on 60 Minutes last night? Tragic for Shane and the Tucks. Danger will be hoping the tribunal missed it!

Port will finish top of the Ladder this year but not sure if they win a GF in Melbourne.

Port start 2021 campaign in style with ruthless win

Initially I just thought an automatic 2 weeks but I’m inclined now to agree with David King with his call for a 4 week penalty. Watching again more closely you can Dangerfield makes a clear choice to bump and then absolutely launches at Kelly taking him down the middle like a good old fashioned Gary Ablett Snr Shirtfront. I thought this sort of behavior had been outlawed from the game. I think Patrick was trying make a statement as the Cats were getting outplayed by the young Crows and he had been quiet but he could have seriously injured the Adelaide Player.
Also, just a question to anyone who wants to answer. I’m trying to formulate a Multi made up of Top 4 and Top 8 positions at the end of the Year. Does anyone think either Cats or Lions will miss the Top 4 or Top 8 if they lose the game next week?

'Enough's enough': David King calls for massive Dangerfield ban to send a message to players

That’s 2 big knockouts in his last 2 AFL games. Is there a pattern forming?
I always get the feeling with Dangerfield that he believes that he is somehow above the usual set of rules.

Dangerfield sent straight to AFL tribunal

Very true Adrian. Its so good to have football back. It helps make life feel normal again.
My favorite part of Round 1 was the wins by the Crows and Swans. I know its early but it has made the competition look alot more even than everyone thought it would be last week.

Like a warm hug

I concur Col. Not malicious but the AFL seem too advanced the penalties index the the severity of injury. Bankable 2 weeks.

'Has to get a week': Has this bump landed Dangerfield in strife?
