The history seems a bit off, Tim. The Swans started this two years ago, and won plaudits for it. The Pies have just taken it to an even more manic and masterful level.

The Swannies seem bound for the top four after today’s showing. A little more polish and the score could have been much higher. So a few more pre-season pundits will need to eat their predictions. However, GWS’s outside run is pretty impressive and will hurt many teams.
It was a breakthrough game for Dan Robinson in my view – showed real footy smarts in tricky situations. Strange to watch so many Swans with real skills not just guts. Callum Mills looks like a future captain after just 3 games. And the current captain might want to contain his inner nasty. Jack was brilliant but those two 50 metre penalties undid much of the good work.
