Agree on both points. The FFA need to listen to members and club officials about what timeslot suits best. It would be in the best interest to give the best available to Victory and Sydney as these are the biggest audiences, simular to what the AFL do with Collingwood. If Victory want to play Sat night, and Sydney get their biggest crowds on Sunday 5pm then let them play then. Consistancy is the key point to next years schedule
How to fix the A-League schedule
Great game, and hopefully the start of a great rivalry. Maybe if the 2022 bid is successful football might even receive the coverage it deserves from commercial networks

Sorry Art, if I had my way Peter Hore would be living as far away from Australia as possible

Cheers, the 98′ team was no doubt the best team we have ever seen. The worst part is we will never know how they would have fared in France.

Hopefully the fixture for 2011 isnt as cruel for North as it is 2010. The talent of the ‘kids’ coming through is exceptional, and I think Brad Scott is the right man to take them forward. Etihad isn’t a great ground for North Melbourne, but unfortuately the G is way too big. I like how North are exploring the Ballarat option, and if the AFL are to help them out a NAB cup game in Ballarat would be a way forward.
The kids are North Melbourne's future
North seem to get the rough end of the stick from the AFL every year. Hopefully with their young crop coming through things can change on the fixturing front
Some massive games coming up at the G
I think another 12months will see him through. He is still young but circuit is getting longer and tougher each year. I don’t want to see Lleyton rely on wildcard entries to keep playing in the top tournaments. Injuries aside, 14 years on the tour are starting to take their toll and others would have given up. Mentally Hewitt could probably play for 3/4 more years, but I think Aus open, Wimbledon and London should be his curtain call.
What next for Lleyton Hewitt?
