As a Roosters supporter, this last thing on my mind is shame. Toughen up petals! We are back to back Premiers…..

The worst call in grand final history

Looks like they were serving sour grapes at Redfern over the weekend 😛

Roosters into 2019 NRL grand final after stopping Storm

Qualifying finals: The real contenders (and the real pretenders)

Probably right re Keary however they would give it a good crack. Chooks should have been 24 up at halftime had it not been for timing issues which always happens when a new half comes into the team. Lam had a few defensive lapses yesterday and that’s probably why Saints went through the middle as the Chooks were pushing players out to help Lam. The difference this year compared to last is that Chooks have focused more on attack to start the season and that’s most likely the influence of ex Storm assistant Adam O’Brien. Defence is in their DNA and will come with time. Mind you, the middle third fades will get their pants pulled down soon.

Roosters vulnerable without Luke Keary

Right or wrong, I’ve always considered the Golden Boot to be presented to the best League player in the world. looking at the majority of past winners, not many can argue with that. Why then change the rules for the Golden Boot? If it is for the Internationals only, call it the ‘International’ player of the year and maintain the Golden Boot as the best overall player based on each game they play throughout a 12 month period……

Instead of asking "who's Tommy Makinson", first ask "what's the Golden Boot"?

These teams are so closely matched in statistics it’s not funny. It’s obviously not difficult to pick the Storm based on the superstar Smith and the retiring Slater who will wont to go out with a bang. Stats however are history and if it’s one thing we know on GF day, history doesn’t win games. There’s a lot of pressure on the Storm and I’ve seen a resolve in the Chooks this year that I’ve never seen before. They look focused and single minded in what they are out to achieve. Cronk will be a huge loss but his influence on this team, even if doesn’t play, cannot be underestimated. My heart says Chooks and so does my head. Chooks 14-12!

The ultra definitive NRL grand final stats preview: Sydney Roosters vs Melbourne Storm

As much as I’d love him to get off, it aint going to happen. Chooks will have to play the Prelim without him!
