They were uncompetitive because they dumped all their eggs into the Sandow basket. Rule changes took away his only form of defence with the shoulder charge being outlawed hence their star play maker (other than Hayne) was effectively taken out of the game. Dont get me started on Roberts but Kelly is a good prospect and next year should be a better year for the eels, and yes especially if sticky sticks around.

Lady A, thankyou for your reply. Obviously you are happy with one live game a week plus two stop start affairs with no games on a saturday, (don’t get me started on the footy show). I would love to not have to pay for my league viewing but unfortunately I enjoy a higher quality coverage than channel 9 are able to provide. Peter Stirling is the only commentator of value on channel 9 and he is heading fox’s way. The voice of the game spends too much time talking about the block and the voice.
Living in a rural area (Canberra) I can only tune into WIN, hence when I am forced to watch the Friday night games or Sunday afternoon affair it is in low definition.
