So CCM are 1 of only 2 teams to win and some how get only 1 player in team of the week?

Who made the cut? A-League team of the week: Round 12

Rennie was a better team builder like Dingo, we seem to want to win the WC without building depth

'Major coup': Rennie axed with Eddie Jones returning as Wallabies coach on mammoth deal for two Cups

I give him 8 months

Will he?

They keep doing what they’re doing it’s gunna be very hard to ignore them.

A-League Round 11 talking points: Managers under fire, Mariners on a roll, Evans' shocker, WSW can't score

Yeah, Nah.

A-League Round 9 talking points: FA hands down sanctions but Glover free to play, Corica on borrowed time

Say what you want, even a home ground wouldn’t have saved Adelaide tonight.

A-League Round 10 talking points: Victory slumping, Kuol says farewell, Maclaren makes history

The corruption in the sport was next level.

A-League analogy: The hard-line school of APL

Great article Mike. Reads the room perfectly. Townsend and Lederer must be removed from the APL board. There presence does nothing to assist in moving through the issues the league now find it has.

Taking even the supporters out of the discussion, if all Club Chairs aren’t even privy to discussions of this magnitude there is something inherently wrong around the structures of the leadership in the APL.

How can anyone be satisfied with the performance of the APL?

The point is we can ask that question, the are alot more establish clubs that can’t

REACTION: 'Most courageous performance I've ever witnessed' - Bozza leads praise for valiant Roos

Yeah nah.
Too green.

Don’t think you realise how weak CONCACAF is.

Not sure if you’ve seen Leckie’s, international stats. If that’s the reason for J-mac Preclusion, than why wouldn’t it exist for Leckie.
To be honest I wouldn’t take JMac as I just don’t think a poacher is what we need, but Arnie won’t have the balls to do that. Beside 7 in 5 makes it very hard to omit him.

Does Graham Arnold have the guts to pick the Socceroos squad he should?

Fudge Ruden. He lost.

A-League Round 5 talking points: Wanderers dismantled, Roos hopefuls stake claim and champions floundering

I’ll weigh in on the CCM game.
-The timing was atrocious. CCM can’t fill on Saturdays.
-The weather was perfect beach weather.
-We had just played one of our worst game in 2 years the week before.
-We have 3 home games in 4 weeks, Plus a WSW away game, alot have to sacrifice one weekend to the misso, wasn’t gunna be Perth as it was the first home game, alot of people will travel for WS for a bit of atmosphere, and MBs is the last before the WC.
WU was always gunna be low.

A-League Round 4 talking points: Stunning comeback, more VAR drama and Wanderers keep rolling

I’m glad that you can spot the hypocrisy in the officiating. Though the question here shouldn’t be why didn’t NTS get away with it, but why did Caceres? I agree Caceres should have been pinged.
It doesn’t mitigate NTS going in studs up (not even contesting the ball).

She’s a paradox, can score screamers from 40 yard all day, in the same vein that she misses sitters all day.
She sorts that out, it’ll be hard taking it off her.

Sam Kerr in Ballon d'Or top three again but Barcelona star reclaims the trophy

One swallow does not make a summer.

He needs to show more consistency. It’s why I think the game next weekend is probably the most important for him in a very long time.

Eat your words if you wrote off Daniel Arzani, he may be Qatar bound

I just hope Guus drags him to the right
way of thinking, it’s our only hope.

World Cup 'X-Factor' dazzles, but questions remain: Five things we learned from Australia's 2-0 win over New Zealand

Don’t want to tell you how I know, but all Arnie needs is one full game out of him and he’ll be on the plane.

Are you being serious.
The kids still growing. It’s what I believe differentiates AU and CCM. the lack of reliance on youth players ensures the avoidance of injury in youth, it ensures their best possible development of the youth.

As for the slow strikers CCM had:
Urena- was the the spear head of Costa Rican golden generation 8 years ago. FFS he scored against Uruguay in a WC.
Cumming – came equal 3rd in the golden boot. Equal 4th in assists. The only player comparable is Goodwin, Cummings played 6 less games. He has scored a brace against Liverpool.
Moreshe – is young and improving just like Garang.

On the 3 out of the 4 occasions Garang scored CCM were already winning. In the WU game where he won the game for CCM, WU parked the bus. For as much as I enjoy watching Garang he never pulled CCM out of the fire!

The thing is koul has size

??? What are you talking about? The kid was playing professional at 17. He was playing NPL at 16. He appeared 8 times and scored on 4 seperate occassions this year. He has just supposedly signed a mammoth contract in Europe.
Just what exactly are the Mariners hold him back from?

Leaving out the DM of the best team in Scotland is sensible?

You tell me when the last call for time wasting happened in an international.
