I strongly disagree, Micheal actually is a proven world class player , and his record in England has not been that bad, its just a rough patch. Take Virat Kohli’s example for instance, he was going through a very rough patch last year in England , now had India dropped him wouldn’t that have shattered his confidence and even if he was called back for some reasons would he have scored those four hundreds against Australia in Australia or that Hundred against Pakistan in the world cup? The answer is no, because you need to give your best players that extra bit cushion. Clarke can come back very strongly I must say.

Shaun Marsh needs to be given a chance , Mitch Marsh needs to step up his game, Clarke needs to regain form. Hazlewood , Starc and Johnson need to bowl accurately now.

Australia can emulate England’s 2009 comeback

Honestly i dont see Australia winning this series anyway, only two tests left and Australia need to win both of them , with their middle order in turmoil , and not so effective battery it will be tough to even draw a match now.

For me the standout performer was James Anderson , he simply killed the match on the first day.

England dominate Australia in three days

Totally Agreed. Gone are those days when teams dominated cricket. Nowadays I only see home domination except for Sri Lanka this year who even lost at home.

I myself am a huge fan of Micheal Clarke, based on the fact that he scored massively when the Aussies team was in all sorts of troubles, took over captaincy from Ponting during a hard time, gave Australia the 5-0 Ashes whitewash too , scored 4 double hundreds in an year.
