From the Tahs press conference Hunt claims he had to initiate a meeting almost a year after the incident to that he mentions Thorn alluded he won’t be in his plans – that right there smells of arrogance and ignorance from a head coach.
The Fact Tahs conducted thorough due diligence makes Thorn look like a puppet and his way the only way. If the Tahs assessment of Hunt achieves the goals of both organisation & player then I would say a reformed Hunt would make a far better coach than Thorn.
Why? Experience, Dialogue, temperament, objective, negotiation and understanding across a plethora of social and athletic levels.
A Sanctimonious chest beating strong hand Thorn will eventually lose momentum.

His loyalty lies with sports. At the end of the day we are all sports fans of some sort and Karmichael no different. I don’t think his intentions is to disrespect the traditionalists rather I think it’s the opposite.

Hunt threatened with court action after the Ex Reds CEO former CEO sponsor of the North’s rugby club veto his return to club rugby by threatening North’s to pull the sponsorship. Seriously do you think the Norths roster is full of choirboys?
We were told nobody wanted him, Souths pick him up with their President and sponsor publicity telling everybody to move forward.
We were convinced he wasn’t going to play NRC, ended up playing, ironically the first game at North’s in front of a packed house. Go figure.
Stop playing games and taking us for idiots, the Reds need to come out and publicly condemn and disown Hunt by his actions and not use Jim Tucker as their ghost writer to convince us he’s moving to the Tahs.

Interesting.
The thought peer review would have ousted Hunt on the media consumption he ‘turned on his mates’ tells me the locker room were provided a counter narrative to the trigger phrase and soundbites they were listening to.
Up until recently Hunt’s ‘Players Voice’ article gave me an insight of what a locker room looks like.
Post Jan 2018 the same locker room filled with impressionable young Souths and Brisbane City players had no complaints or maybe they too saw themselves as infallible?

Thorn’s 2019 Strategy was to offload Keveri for Folua inclusive of moving Cooper, Hunt & Slipper hence the comment.
Duncan & Izzy are talented young players too which both are/have moving on to other organisations.
It’s apparent Thorn wants yes men to which he mismanages furthermore avoids dialogue with players who challenge/enquire his ideas.

Your argument and presumption of Thorn’s reasons is flawed as the Tahs due diligence report shows otherwise. Hunt claims he was tangled in a complex mental war with himself, does Brad Thorn know this? Does his team mates know this? No. Brad Thorn is triggered by 3rd party reports to which he had no experience on how to handle the narrative however succumb to the theory he’s a liar.
I guarantee you in 99.9% of cases similar to Hunt’s alcohol trades as the redeemer of all things to which drugs is just mere servant offering a dead out.
