mini breaks in each half. Each stoppage is a conference, a drink and chat a wander to the lineout, 3 reset scums, a penalty, a conference, a goal kick. Even on TV I need to watch another sport at the same time, to fill the dead time.
It’s not all about winning it’s about entertainment as well. AFL team regularly pull 20000 when they are not in the running to make the finals.

I don’t see any lack of hardness (whatever that means) or lack of effort and it’s seems disrespectful in my view to say so.
There is no place to hide in test rugby and we should select Wallabies who have demonstrated that they can do it a Super level. Not projects, not on potential or up side or X factor . Just solid delivery over seasons.

It’s not cash handouts- the SuperRugby teams produce the content that RA sell. They provide the players for the Wallabies with a salary and team to play for.

The Brumbies have mounted a strong challenge every year more than a decade. A good season is making the Semis. We’re just badly last year being forced to rest players who Jones didn’t even want in the Wallabies.
It not about being a the champ or a failure.
Crowds are down because the game is so so slow. Too much standing around. Speed it up and the crowds will return.
