Hey Bros. What about Sonny Bill as coach of the Development side? We need a good NRL coach like Farrell did with the Irish?

Exclusive: Path clear for McKellar to return as Wallabies coach despite Leicester job, Cheika's update on future

Not one Wallaby selected let alone a Portuguese player. Thought Farrell would have been selected as the first-five with Sam cane captaining the team from the bench much like Andy Dalton did in ’87.

There’s nothing wrong with a Middle Eastern volativity rising upon the mercury.

I’m available for half the cost and like all the good 72,007 Australian selectors will pick a winning team that will leave scorched earth patches across our 2027 paddocks.

Agree totally! The beginning was good. The middle part was thoroughly exciting. The ending was good too. I think I must watch it as it is an important global game played by the whole wide World of Manukau-Aotearoa.

Fern-tastic! New Zealand punish wasteful Jillaroos to hand Australia first defeat since 2016 after epic boilover

This is just unbelievable. The Manukau- Aotearoans lost yet again! Just don’t believe it. I’ll have to give away any more support and take up learning the rules of hockey.

Subtle!

'The players deserved better': Cheika's fury returns as England hang on against Argentina to win RWC bronze medal

The best referee who you never knew he was on the field was that Georgian Amashukaliesomething or rather.

'The players deserved better': Cheika's fury returns as England hang on against Argentina to win RWC bronze medal

Dead right! I put it down to there are not enough men in teaching teaching values to the predators. Once upon a time teams shook hands before a match began. Not just the captains. It’s only in the World Cup we get two teams coming out together instead whereas we now get booing when the opposition comes out and high praise for the locals. Rugby has lost its way with cheating with honour.

For goodness sake stop mentioning the lawn bowls in cricket!

'The players deserved better': Cheika's fury returns as England hang on against Argentina to win RWC bronze medal

I like the fact unlike the first half the officials tried to let the game flow.

'The players deserved better': Cheika's fury returns as England hang on against Argentina to win RWC bronze medal

If there is a lesson to be learned from today’s game “possession! possession! possession!” Just like the Wallabies it was Argentina who kicked away possession. it wasn’t till they passed the ball that they started making inroads. By that time it was far too late.

Good point. I would add these flights of fancy are good for the environment too. Just as a certain Teal MP used to go to Europe to practice her skiing every summer.

'It will kill rugby': Minnows feel shafted as World Rugby hails 'historic' revamp with exclusive Nations Championship

The way to promote the game is to tour these tier 2 countries. When was the last time the All Blacks played in Canada? At least the NH Countries have been there more often than some of the southern hemisphere countries. Full marks to NZ for playing Ireland in Chicago. But one match in an eternity doesn’t make a season.

'It will kill rugby': Minnows feel shafted as World Rugby hails 'historic' revamp with exclusive Nations Championship

The day I see Bill Beaumont spending time visiting Suva or the Transvaal or Patumahoe, Dalton Papali’i’s Rugby Club, or the Tampa Krewe Club in Florida, let alone the Emerald Rams Rugby Club in Queenzland is the day I think he is genuine about spreading the gospel according to Pontius’ high flying pilot!

Too subtle.

UK VIEW: 'Utter heartbreak' for 'brilliant, cunning, courageous' Poms in WC semi 'undeservedly' won by Boks

In some ways it has been a Cup for the non-entities of rugby with France and Ireland both having defeated the finalists. Wales with one or two injuries losing to Argentina was a surprise and Portugal beating Fiji. Fiji having sublimely beaten one of the semi-finalists England prior to the tournament along with Scotland played below their potential while England became the surprise package.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

It will be a true World Cup when Japan or Uruguay are in the final.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

Lets hope the teams do the talking in the final as opposed to the referee. Couldn’t help thinking earlier on what a lack of sportsmanship was shown by the English Team when the ball was beneath their feet and not one offered to return it to the Springboks upon them receiving a penalty. A Springbok had to walk over to the extra ten metres and retrieve the ball themselves. Perhaps there is a God of Justice and fair play in Heaven. Enjoyed watching Princess Anne’s view of rugby being played these daze on The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

A boring game compounded by an officious ref. For once the TMO was historically and remarkably quiet. BOK, the see and eye surgeon was working over-time.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

Agree totally. What I fear however is that these teams will be abandoned till we have the next RWC. Whenever we head north the ARU should include one or two additional matches against not just Portugal or Romania or Georgia but Canada or the USA or perhaps the African nations such as Kenya, Ivory Coast and Zimbabwe.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

Tend to think perhaps that the NRL may have the answer to a World Rugby Cup draw rather than this lawn tennis sudden death. Something is wrong when New Zealand are in the finals having been beaten by France but were able to beat Ireland who had beaten South Africa who in turn had lost to Ireland but defeated France.
Irrespective, disappointed there will be no more rugby now till next year.

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

Personally I think Ben O’Keefe as a New Zealander with the All Blacks in the final shouldn’t have been given the onus to referee the match not only from a neutrality line, but I tend to think he is far too domineering with a hesitancy to let a game flow. On top of which that last minute scrum penalty leading to the Springbok’s win will be remembered as you’ve mentioned for BOK’s decision as opposed to Pollard’s long range success.

England coach's classy response as Ben O'Keeffe suffers ultimate insult from World Cup winner

You missed the very point of neutrality. A New Zealand referee prior to a final involving one of the finalists? The match was ruined I would suggest by far too many pin-pricking penalties. A good referee who has played the game can read a game to such an extent where allowances can and should be made. This match won’t live in the annals of being at all memorable. Look at that second penalty to England. It was leading to a great counter-attack by the Springboks when the whistle blew. And there were just as many crooked throws into the lineout where the pinging was just as unnecessary.
Hope Barnes is refereeing the final or the ref from Georgia. The latter lets the game flow over-ruling this this stop-start crap we watched this morning. As for my credentials they would far and away surpass anything you could mount sonny on top of which as a former referee the games I have officiated would far and away outweigh any importance I may have played.
