Does anyone think the protest result was wrong
Cox Plate drama as protest mars thrilling finish
2 roosters and hopefully some storm to be rubbed out as well.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
No at least the roosters have finally had a couple of suspensions. In true fashion they fought the charges and delighted to say they lost. Most other clubs just accept early guilty plea. NOT THE CHOOKS!
RIP rugby league: 1908-2021
Seems most teams in the nrl are accepting the clampdown on high shots taking early guilty pleas. Apart from the roosters of course

The “hip drop”. Sounds like a dance move. What a load of you know what.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
In your opinion
Certainly not mine
As I said if its consistent for all teams and as you say players with shocking. Wouldn’t say Tariq Simms has
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
The hip drop. What is that? What about the kafusi “rub your face in the dirt” which he does continually. Doesn’t do much for someones eyes now does it?
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Look out ALL PLAYERS that have carry over points or have been suspended previously. You WILL be under close scrutiny. Is that the message?
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
So hes been labeled and intense scrutiny is directed his way on anything he does. He might as well retire he’s not going to get a fair hearing.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
So he continues to run and you can’t tackle him. Give me a break.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
4 suspensions for one team. Are you kidding? All teams have players who stretch the boundaries. That is fact.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
However you spell his name. Was the act deliberate NO. Was Maguire sent to sin bin early justified NO. Was locking up the ball carrier paramount to the tacklers decision making YES, defending with 12 men and ball on its way to addo carr.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Yeah well as long as its consistent and the refs look very closely at the perpetrators on both teams, not just one. Appears saints were playing for melbourne if you know what I mean. Both teams had perpetrators.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Apparently one side did all the dirty play. 4 suspensions. That is rubbish and anyone who watched the game would know that.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Melbourne immediately get 2 free interchanges and have 2 st george players off the field. One for the entireity of the game. Hynes back to fullback, melbourne team uninterrupted virtually. The game then over 10 mins in to an 80 minute contest. Apparently melbourne had no misdemeanors sinbinnable. I find that very hard to believe. They manipulate officials and whinge when they don’t get their way.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
The game was ruined and all fans should get money back. Lucky I had free tickets. The game is about the fans. Not just the fans on one side. Rule changes are ruining the game. 6 again is rubbish.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
How many weeks did Dylan Brown get for causing this crackdown?
NRL clubs adapt to crackdown, engage rugby sevens coaching experts
Absolutely agree. Not the game it was. Rule changes and officialdom has ruined it.

Ball and all tackle gone wrong was what it was. Full stop!
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
You are not right. Faumono was trying to lock up the ball carrier. Was going to be a certain try on addo carrs side. The tackle went wrong. Intent I’m sure was not to purposely injure the player. Maguire was off in the sin bin. Defending then with 12 men. Shortly after 11 men. Is that a fair contest? Against the premiers
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
It was a ball and all tackle that went wrong. Trying to defend ,at the time, with 12 men and lock up the ball carrier and stop the ball getting to addo carr. Intent here pretty sure was not to hurt the player.
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Seriously. Pretty sure st george should not have been the only team to have 4 players rubbed out through suspension according to the new rules. Not a case of poor st george. They were left to play the premiers with 11 players at one stage. Is that fair?
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Seriously what did maguire ravalawa and simms do. Its a tough contact sport. 4 suspensions is ridiculous in the extreme
Eight talking points from NRL Round 10
Unfair result
Geez I’d be filthy if I owned Anamoe
