You are 100% correct.
He alienated the so called ” rat pack ” who all played for Malthouse. Loved Malthouse. They did not adhere to Buckleys Robot philosophy’s. These guys actually had personality and Buckley wanted them out so he could mould his own team.
Why ? We had a young list at the top end of the ladder. Why do it ?
Buckley systematically moved on Daisy, Didak, Jolly, Dawes, Shaw,Wellingham, Beams etc etc
The game plan has been atrocious for 5 years. The man talks in riddles, like on 360 , Chris Scott answers questions clearly and precisely yet Buckley is smug and cryptic. No wonder the players do not play for him. He cannot relate . He has no people skills. I can see why Geelong play so well under Chris Scott. He is to the point and open.
Eddies succession plan has failed dismally and he is too proud to admit it. For this reason he must go.
Buckley must go . Any other coach would be long gone.
