Chooks played 3 in a row 2002 to 2004, only winning the one in 2002.

MICHAEL HAGAN: Why Panthers can emulate Eels of the '80s with a rare premiership three-peat

One wonders if there would have been a different outcome if Radley had done the charge down….

'That is awful!' Is Tamou in trouble for Round 1 after hideous hit... despite not even getting binned?

Complete rubbish. He led with his shoulder and made almost no attempt to use the arms. 6 weeks was lenient.

'I don't need to change, the game needs to change': Latrell's astonishing call as NRL cuts ban short

Totally agree. It was only given Grade 2. It was farcical.

'I don't need to change, the game needs to change': Latrell's astonishing call as NRL cuts ban short

TJ, I agree. If he stays injury free I think he will have a great year. I think the halves are the challenge. Keary and Walker both like to play what’s in front of them so it wouldn’t surprise me to see Keary and Hutchison starting; Hutch is a bit more structured and solid defensively.
The Roosters were the over achievers in 2021 but again, injuries will influence who will be there on GF day. If they have a better run with injuries then they will be thereabouts.

NRL 2022 Radar: Roosters rebuild on the run for another title shot

Geez – Coogee are supposedly South Sydney juniors. If you can find me a real estate agent that describes Coogee as in “the heart of South Sydney” rather than “one of the best beaches in the Eastern Suburbs” then I’ll show you a failed agent. Or…. Someone who supports a team that has won only one GF in 50 years….

NRL 2022 Radar: Roosters rebuild on the run for another title shot

Nah. Latrell did it all himself. Ask Joey Manu if 6 weeks was enough. You need to get over the fact that the best team actually won the GF and move on.

NRL 2022 Radar: Roosters rebuild on the run for another title shot

Totally agree. They only had 4 tries put on them in last 3 games. That’s why they won. The two captains led the way. Cleary kicking was precision and Yeo dominated the middle. They should have shared the Clive Churchill!!

The A to Z of the NRL's 2021 season

What about B for Bennett’s Brief press conferences

The A to Z of the NRL's 2021 season

This is a joke. Mitchell Pearce has every right to ask for his Fine back. He copped 10 weeks and $125k fine… At the time it was about the poor look for NRL – surely this is worst. Just another example of Storm getting favourable treatment and the NRL being clueless.

Four NRL players cop fines and suspensions for bringing the game into disrepute

Cris I reckon he’s a chooks fan. If he had mentioned dental plans then I reckon we would know for sure…. Lol

All the love for Souths: Can Bunnies claim first premiership since 2014?

I see Penrith hammering South’s in first 30 minutes and they will win the battle in the middle. They will win by 20+ and Yeo will be best on field but Cleary will win Clive Churchill… call me Nostradamus…

All the love for Souths: Can Bunnies claim first premiership since 2014?

Well Matt they are the only team to write a book about how much every other team has done the wrong thing to them. It’s a whinge from cover to cover… They are apparently feuding with everyone. They have a bit of the “karens “ about them in my view…

All the love for Souths: Can Bunnies claim first premiership since 2014?

Yep. The comments are all inane…. The red and green glasses are on and it was all Joey Manu’s fault apparently – that’ll teach him to head butt Latrell’s shoulder….

Another crazy chapter in the Book of Feuds as Mitchell's moment of madness stuns Manu

Benny is the roster wrecker. When he leave teams the rosters are a mess. St George, Newcastle, Brisbane and now Souths – just saying….

Another crazy chapter in the Book of Feuds as Mitchell's moment of madness stuns Manu

You beat a North Sydney Bears team who pushed you until Mitchell had a brain snap. Your posts are so biased it is hard work reading such inane comments…very frustrating reading!!

Another crazy chapter in the Book of Feuds as Mitchell's moment of madness stuns Manu

I laugh when Penrith blame losses on a couple of players being out…. On that logic they’d be last if they had the injury list that the Roosters have had.

Roosters' inspiring surge hit with fresh blow as Radley facing three-week ban

Great article Tim but not sure what your problem with Easts is. The Roosters are good because they have a great system that fostered and cared for Boyd. To quote the great bard: Jealousy is a curse…????

The only negative thing about Boyd Cordner was that he didn’t suit the anti-Roosters narrative

They have lost Cordner, Collins, Morris, Friend, Keary – all forever or the season. They are all SOO quality players. But they keep turning up… I’m not sure that if Panthers had had the same injuries, whether they would be sitting in 5th… The roosters middles all have big engines so if they get on top it could be a boil over. But then again…..

NRL Round 15 teams: Origin stars return en masse

Cam the Roosters are without Friend, Cordner, Collins, Morris, Keary, Butcher, plus plus – the casualty ward is bigger than St Vincent’s emergency room. To be four points behind at this stage is a huge achievement. The run home for the Roosters will be hard as they are all carrying injuries and the roster is getting very thin…
Penrith have zero injuries. If they don’t beat the Roosters this weekend, I’d say they can’t win the big one.

Seven talking points from NRL Round 14

It’ll be a cricket score even if the Broncos have all 17 on the park…

NRL Round 11 teams: Suspension chaos causes mass changes, Milford dumped again

According to the Parra coach he was pulling out of the tackle. He must have been watching a different game! The roosters player goes to hospital and the Eels player finishes the game. So much for player welfare….He led with his knees intentionally and never pulled out. That is not only negligent but so dangerous that the offence resulted in a punctured lung. He should be given a couple of months off or as long as Hutchison is out for – whichever is longest.

Does Dylan Brown deserve a lengthy stint on the sidelines?

He was also involved in a head clash with Cartwright who staggered around like he had been clocked by Tim Tszui… magically neither of them were HIA. Yet Radley was a HIA. Maybe some teams take player safety more seriously than others.

Does Dylan Brown deserve a lengthy stint on the sidelines?

The Roosters were brave but made it hard on themselves by not completing sets. They were gassed because of all the defensive work. And yet they held the Storm for 50 minutes… plus they finished with a depleted bench whilst the Storm had “favourable” HIA outcomes. The Storm were not impressive and you’d have to think that The Penny Panthers would have easily beaten both of them.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 6

Yes. The Roosters are the walking wounded and are over achieving but it says a lot when we are all undecided on who should start as favourites… if the Dragons can’t beat the chooks this weekend then you can write them off as being in the top 8.
