Gal was well known for that sort of behaviour so it would come as no surprise. He certainly wouldn’t have apologised for it and shown any remorse. As I’ve said, I’m not condoning that sort of behaviour, but circumstance does play it’s part, yes.

Jai Arrow: "I'm not a grubby player"

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that teddy boy was diving to avoid getting belted.. as he had pretty much beaten Arrow who barely had a hand on him. So in taking the dive he headbutts Papas knee and goes all nighty night. He should have kept upright and taken the tackle on. But he didn’t, because his tactic is to submit. He does it often.
If you think Arrow has scruffed him up knowing he was out cold, then you too have clearly been head butting Papas knees, on regular occasions. But I admire your conviction.

Have to disagree Andy. A players rep precedes them. Happens across all sports. If a player is known to be susceptible to the niggle for example, which leads to a brain explosion, that player will cop niggle. If a player is known to get flustered by verbal banter, they’ll cop a dig. Your man ted is known as a diver… so Arrow tried to pick him up. And he didn’t drive him into the ground, more like dropped him. No malice in it.
It’s a competition. Can’t blame players for seeking a competitive edge.

Jai Arrow: "I'm not a grubby player"

Given that teddy is known to submit during and even before being tackled, it’s perfectly reasonable in that split second for Arrow to think he was just playing at his normal game.
Of course he didn’t know he was concussed. By no means am I condoning his action by the way. But the heat of the battle and teddy’s rep didn’t aid the situation. Certainly not worth crucifying the guy.
He apologised. Move on. Plenty of blues fans were salivating at the loss of Munster a week ago. Funny how things change and everyone’s up in arms all of a sudden.

Damian Cook looked spooked out there.
It was as if he was coming to terms with the impending loss of his green and gold jersey, while watching Grant tear things up in front of his own eyes.
Got the better of him physically and mentally.
Interesting to watch.

Six talking points from State of Origin Game 3

Exactly Mushi….
and taking QLD at 3.60 every year has been a never ending stream of joy… and why I’ve retired early. Gotta thank the blues for always being the bomb.. on paper.

Grant's debut for the ages powers Maroons to memorable State of Origin series win

I hope for your sake he does, because QLD will be strengthened considerably next year one would think. Freddy can ill afford another embarrassment with what he has at his disposal… apparently.

Grant's debut for the ages powers Maroons to memorable State of Origin series win

Which makes it even more astounding that these utterly crap QLD teams keep on turning up!!

Grant's debut for the ages powers Maroons to memorable State of Origin series win

Yeah… but nah. No matter who the blues put on the field tonight.. they lose. Maroons were missing considerable talent as well.. but the nobodies pretty much destroyed the glamour boys. Not by chance.. by ticker.

Don’t know what game you were watching Benny boy. Nsw got destroyed across the park. The score line actually flattered the blues by a considerable margin.

Shouldn’t we all know better than to poke bears in the ribs with sticks?!

Are the All Blacks staring into the abyss?

While I’m not particularly willing to enter this colourful debate nor take any one side for that matter… I do desperately need to know, on what planet or tongue do the words bitter and bronze rhyme?

Which rugby nation will be the best in the world by 2023?
