i dont really think he was pushing a view. he was answering a question put to him based on his faith. issue was he did not retract that view, when asked by his employer pushing a view would be like when my son comes home from primary school and says boys can be girls….that would be pushing a view.
Folau: It's a messy, complicated and still fiercely-disputed story. But mostly it's just sad
Sorry Chivas, i meant Israel Folau not Israel, the jewish state.

great read Ben. i think something that gets often overlooked was how sports organisations, rushed in to state their position on same sex marriage. this was suppose to be a concious and personal decision. by doing so the sports elite were effectively saying to many PI involved in those sports…you do not matter and you do not belong here.a i was interested to read today that RA was not taking a position on the voice and leaving to individuals to vote with their own free will. maybe they have learnt something from the Israel saga.

Chivas, are you saying the Israel’s christian views extreme? or not?

i would humbly suggest that the golden rule to many christians may say somthing about accepting Christ as their saviour. as many christians believe he is the only way to heavan / the father. i do however understand there are many variations

i dont know why netball australia is accepting Hancock funding for 4 months, to help them transition. should have shown sista solidarity, got out there and sold raffle tickets.

imo it has been a long time since the wallabies had a world class passing halfback…maybe peter slattery?
It's time for the Wallabies to front up against ancient foes, and this is how they should do it
imo Nick judging talent more art than science…..to many, talent seen as only a small component of if one will succeed…things like work ethic, football iq and coachability rated as important if not more. that said when fit, he is quite an athlete.

Olly, I agree about the McDermott pass, but do you think Gordon has a good pass?

another thoughtful contribution Nick, i am always curious when one’s talent is ‘undoubted’ a bit like when someone told me that the pope was ‘infallible’….i just had to question, why???

i am more centre right, but always respect ppl that put themselves up for public office and the criticism that may bring. good on him for trying.
REACTION: Dupont, Smith, McDermott? Incredible praise for 'world-class' Reds' halfback as Waratahs sunk in the wet
agree to disagree on that one. it would be interesting what people mean by world call…top 3 in your position…top 50 player, either way i would put him in the rising international star at the moment.

very true, imo we have only have 4 players in the “world class” sphere, 3 are overseas (pocock, arnold and kerevi) and TT in Australia. Even that maybe a stretch. Tate is very good, but where would he be in nz?. if he was at otago, he would be no3 behind smith and fakatava.

In that case Jacko, the new rules should benefit NZ more and all this debate is meaningless.
'I'm sure there'll be controversy': Kefu reveals Israel Folau's Test plans after World Rugby rule change
I think Peter, if you watch the last WC pool game between Aus vs Fiji game objectively, Aus was in a lot of trouble until the best player on the field (No 7) got concussed from a head high tackle. I also the believe all the Aus tries were scored by PI players, I could be wrong on that.

OM, is Fakatava with the Highlanders this year?

Also PeterK, imo has a much better box kick. That said the kid is mighty impressive.
MATCH REPORT: 'Box office' Thor hammers South Africa as Wallabies charge to famous victory
Very possible big tree. Also in Japan I believe he played with Keiren Read, but could be wrong. I think we should remember he was a fulltime captain at a very young age.

Agree with most OOP, Hooper much better captain since returning from Japan. Pretty hard to believe that pre Japan would have taken 8 shots at goal. Two great efforts over the last two weeks, keeping in mind we generally beat SA here and they generally beat us in SA.

Yes Ikitau has been great, outside Kerevi and Quade. First try was a great run off probably the best pass of a wallaby half this year. It was Smith like.

Geez Matt….did you just find footage of campo making a tackle?

So true mate every year.
REACTION: 'Like wrestling a pig in mud' as All Blacks make Wallabies pay for 'chaos style' rugby
I have seen a lot of pundits tipping Australia to at least make the final. I understand that we are on the “easier” side of the draw but our results over the last 18 months have been poor.
