Cummins is a Bit Ross lyonish. How he used Green indicated to me he isn’t as good a captain as he is made out to be. Kids bring energy to the team but they don’t perform as well if you hold them back. Felt like he was holding him back in my opinion.

Harris and Bancrofts test averages very similar. Bancroft averaged almost double in the 2023 shield season.
Taking away their highest scores from the 23 shield season (bancrofts 122 and Harris’s 164) you end up with averages of 14.75 for Harris and 48.74 for Bancroft. Lets say for arguments sake we add the 126 Harris scored against pakistan its still only an average of 30.
Bancroft faces more balls and is more consistent. Everyone down the order will perform better batting against an older ball, especially head.

Playing through injuries is fine RS, broken rib, non – bowling hand sure but he couldnt load through the knee which meant he was basically useless.

Shaheen played through the pain and bowled a trash ball which should have been dispatched. No point sending down another 5 balls of trash. He knew he was done so he did what was best for the team IMO. Another 5 balls to finish his over would have went for more than 13.

Would a percentage of gross earnings of the team allocated as the salary cap plus development allowance for women be better? Sounds equitable to me.

I bet Jake Kelly woke up from his danger KO like at least it wasn’t a chicken wing… AFL is intense. Ginnivan tackle didn’t look to me like there was malice in it just a bit careless same as Dangerfield on Kelly. Didn’t see the De Goey tackle. If Dangerfield is going to use his platform as AFLPA president to call out individual incidents then he probably shouldn’t be in that role. Players have pretty much had a free license to try break Ginnivan’s neck, of his own making mostly but not mentioned as far as i’m aware of by the AFLPA president. Ginninvan’s going to get a holiday after this weekend anyway so that will keep Danger and Chokewood happy.
